Great location right by Trastevere without all the noise at night. Staff was helpful, rooms very clean and spacious, and the breakfast was a huge plus every morning. Will be staying again if I’m back in Rome!

The Trastevere area is amazing with lots of great food, history, and people. This hotel is very inexpensive, basic, no restaurant or anything fancy, but is in a great area.

We enjoyed our stayed at Hotel La Rovere. Friendly staff and great accommodations. Having stayed in Rome before and been disappointed by the air conditioning, this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The air conditioning was fantastic, especially for someone who suffers from heat rash. The room and bed were comfortable, making for an overall excellent stay. Plus, it’s conveniently close to St. Peter’s Basilica. Highly recommend!

Clean, comfortable, and near the Vatican. Staff was a bit neutral in terms of friendliness, with the one exception being Rolando, who was awesome. Don't expect all drivers to come right to the door, as the entrance is in an alley and a flight of stairs up from the main street.

The room is clean, the staffs are nice, breakfast is good, the location is good. Only one thing you need to know about is a short small path from main steet to Hotel main entrance is very dirty.

The locates on a small street, it doesn’t look like a hotel from outside, but the decor inside is modern and unique and clean, plus rooms are big! I took one star off because the hotel didn’t offer a comforter, instead it offered two flat sheets!

BED BUGS! We had a terrible problem with bed bugs and no staff was able to help us. It was so bad we required medical attention. There was no manager available and we are unable to get a refund. I do not recommend that anyone stay here.

This hotel is on a narrow street a block from the river, a short walk to either Vatican City or the Travestere area. Michelangelo and the rest of the staff were very friendly and professional.
If you're looking for a vista overlooking the city or a sunset view, a short, steep walk up the hill behind the hotel leads to Janinculum Hill, which offers both.

This hotel is conveniently located near some of the major attractions. Our room was small, but the hotel was neat. The staff were super helpful and made the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel is located in an "alleyway" - some cabs can get through and others will do a drop off on the main road where the hotel's sign is. The steps are dark at night, but we were fine. We actually found the hotel to be in line with some of the best dining options. Certain areas looked like alleyways, but they led to some of the most lively spots like Trastevere. We felt comfortable.

Stayed for 6 nights in July 2023. Very clean, well appointed hotel in a location very convenient for all of Rome’s attractions and dining options. Room was a good sized twin with a good sized bathroom and a view over the city. All the staff were attentive and friendly. The breakfast offered a good choice and the small bar was nice for a quiet drink.
