La Scaletta was the perfect starting point for out Italy trip!
The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We had a beautiful view of the sea from our balconies.
We were picking up a rental car And meeting family the next morning and it turns out the rental car pick up was only 10 minutes or so from the hotel.
It was off-season so There were not many dining options, but we found plenty still.
I would definitely stay here again!

Pros - all staff from front desk to breakfast staff were polite and helpful.
Good tv and wifi. Close to train and bus station and Oceanside.
Cons - Stayed 2 nights and slept 4 hours each night. No insulation between walls. Could hear neighbours next to me talking, people above me having sex, people in the corridor, and slamming of doors all the way till midnight and passed. As well as early in the morning.
Next door to McDonald's which has people yelling till midnight, cars and motorbikes revving loud and playing music loud from cars. Can hear it all.
Bed is hard. Bathroom is small with claustrophobic shower. Couldn't reach my feet to wash and I'm a skinny guy. Feel like you are being drowned by the shower head because there's no room to get away from it.
Turn to wash your arm or back and you are either hitting the tap with your back or arm or hitting the glass with your body.
I would stay many times over for the staff service, but for the room and bathroom I won't.
I'm coming back to this town again but sadly can't stay here because I require sleep and a shower.

Do not recommend this hotel. Shower is tiny and slippery. I fell in it and hurt my elbow. Walls are paper thin and sounded the upstairs guests were rearranging the furniture and I couldn’t sleep. Lastly one of my son’s toys fell under the bed and when I went to get it I was shocked in the amount of dust under it!

Lovely view of the beach, McDonalds is right at the door of the hotel close to metro about 8 min walk or so, reasonably priced, heater in the room and best blow dryer very pleased

Comfy hotel in a convenient location, close to Fiumicino airport and also beach-front at Roma.

We were only here for 1 night and arrived late and left early, so didn't really get a chance to check out the area, but it looks like it would be a great place for a beach vacation. The property was across from the beach and had a great view from the window.

The guys at the front desk were alsome! Had some issues with my luggage and they helped me every day until it finally arrived! Also when communicating they promptly got back to me, This is in the perfect location and I enjoyed my stay very much so much, I'm planning to return just to stay again!

They had both heat and air conditioning.
Bed was more comfortable than our hotel in Florence and Milan.

Nice property. I would stay here again. Place was clean and staff were friendly. It was great to have so many restaurants around, so it was nice not to have to go too far for dining options! The only issue is that the beds were not very comfortable and the shower was small. Other than those issues I would stay here again.

There are was quite & directly across the street from the ocean. The biggest plus was it offered an airport shuttle for the next morning. I loved our view of the ocean!

Older hotel above a McDonald’s. We had what looked like a queen bed and twin but was actually 3 twins. They put 2 twins together and they kept separating. Thin sheet and thin old blanket on each. Shower was so small and no where to put soap or shampoo. Everytime I bent down to grab it I hit the switch and it turned water off. Room was big enough though and water was hot. Had an elevator. Front desk staff not so friendly but the lady employee handling breakfast was extremely nice and accommodating. Not a bad price but won’t be staying here again. Kind of run down old beach hotel. Across street from beach but we just spent the night before flight home since 20 minutes from airport. There is shuttle you can pay for but only leaves on the 10 minutes after the hour. They recommended 3 hours but that was too much. Think they just wanted to fill shuttle.
