HR residence is at a very convenient location, close to the duomo and easy access to the Luna Russo parking garage (€40/day). It’s also next to the ferry and bus stations, and close to the beach. Our room had partial sea view through the balcony. It was nothing to write home about unless you have never seen the ocean. But the Mountain View and the villas in Ravello are astonishing. It’s also an easy 30 min drive. From Positano. We visited in late October so everything is quieter and enjoyable. Definitely would love to come back again, and the Ristorante Da Maria is our favorite restaurant 2 minutes away from the hotel.

Beautiful facility in the heart of Amalfi town. Classic decor, attentive staff. The breakfast was superb, the balcony of restaurant overlooks the beach, stunning view. There is no doubt I would return to this hotel if I am ever back in Amalfi.

Honestly, I did a lot of research about where to stay on my one night in Amalfi. I ultimately decided to choose convenience over extra amenities like a pool or view of the ocean. I couldn't be happier with my choice. This hotel is SO conveniently located to the city center where you can explore everything Amalfi has to offer and you are an arms reach to the public buses and the ferries for when it's time to change locations. The rooms are very large and we had a balcony with a perfect view of the church. My husband and I stumbled upon a GEM, Luisa Gastronomia Artigianale, we got a bottle of wine and apperativo followed by a sandwich for dinner and we even went back the next day for lunch. Best sandwiches we've ever had in our lives. A MUST try when staying at this hotel!

Location, location, location! Loved our stay at this gorgeous hotel with a lot of old charm and character. Anna, the front desk staff was very helpful with arranging our transportation from Naples to Amalfi and then to Positano. Another manager helped us after the check out with our luggage even up to the taxi as it was raining heavily. Very hospitable staff. Breakfast was fantastic and the view from the dining hall was lovely. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great location in Amalfi town. So convenient to everything; watertaxi, dining, shopping, etc... The room was clean and neat. My biggest problem with the hotel was the mattress was really bad. My husband and I were on our anniversary trip, Amalfi was our 4th out of 5 locations. This was the worst bed that we slept in unfortunately our entire trip. You could feel springs in the bed. Breakfast is available, and there is a nice selection. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This property was perfect! No issues or problems and the staff was amazing. The free breakfast was super yummy and I love the location right across the street from the beach and the private boat pier and ferry pier. Lots of dinner and cocktail options just steps away with tons of local shops.

The hotel is in a wonderful location. Right by the pier and bus stop. Beaches are across the street and shopping and the main square are right around the corner. The view from the restaurant balcony is beautiful also.

Amazing hotel in the heart of Amalfi! Ocean front in the heart of everything! Amazing accommodations and service has been one our most favorite hotels in our entire stay. Modern rooms and they service your room twice a day. Excellent value for your money! The rooms and amenities given were excellent! Definitely recommended👍

TheResidence hotel was replete with old world elegance and service. We loved it! Overlooking the sea and adjacent to the Cathedral, we could not have asked for better accommodations for our overnight in Amalfi. 5 stars in every area!

THIS IS THE HOTEL if you want to enjoy the time in Amalfi. Just across the street from the beach. All the restaurants and shopping around. Just a short walking distance from the ferry or bus station. Good breakfast. Clean, spacious rooms. Multilingual and very approachable staff. Highly recommended
