InterContinental Hotels ROME AMBASCIATORI PALACE, an IHG Hotel

Location was nice. Property was excellent. Staffs were superb. I would stay here again.

Lovely location - quick walk to everything, yet quiet “home” to return to. Breakfast options were wonderful and our dinner at the hotel was one of the best meals we had in Rome (and we had some outstanding meals during our trip). Staff was pleasant and let us be. Rooftop is fabulous. Would definitely stay again.

This is a good hotel and good location Just the room is small.

The staff at the IHG Ambasciatori is impressive from our first correspondence regarding our booking to the final moment on our last day when our car service delivered us from the hotel to Civitavecchia. The Concierge team is second to none. They assisted us in curating an itinerary of private exclusive tours of Rome and surrounding areas and coordinated dinner reservations at the best restaurants that provided us with the authentic experience, far from the “touristic spots”. The Concierge also coordinated car service pickup from the airport as well as car service to Civitavecchia. We also had a tour of Tivoli arranged by the Concierge with the car service team. The daily breakfast is wonderful. The selection of hot and cold dishes are all delicious. More than that, the staff are attentive and are all friendly. Our experience at this hotel has made us decide to come back after the Jubileo. The property is impeccable, beautiful and simply the best.

It was more than 80 degrees in the room and despite contacting the front desk for assistance with the thermostat, and assurances that they could fix the issue centrally, the air conditioning did not seem to work. We slept with the windows open facing a noisy street.

The breakfast options are limited. The quality is below average . Staff could be friendlier

Although our stay did not start the way we wanted, the staff was second to none. It’s been my experience that a team’s ability to correct a situation demonstrates their strength, this team surpassed all of our expectations, BRAVO!!

Nice ambience and centrally located.

The hotel was very nice. We had a shower that created a flood while in use and they tried to fix it right away. Room was smaller than we expected for the price point.

Great hotel, good location. It looked like hotel just being renovated. Very nice. Great bathroom, great room and decor. Only thing I did not like was goose feather pillows and covers, which to me aren't comfy, they smell and make noise and gave me allergies. Pillows were changed after my request. Breakfast was great. Will return.

Great location and very helpful staff

Only problem with this hotel is that they dont have a full fledged spa and no pool, which was a bit shocking since its a 5 star hotel.

Lovely clean property with great rooftop bar and awesome breakfast. Enjoyed our 3 day stay very much.

Loved this hotel! Rooms were perfect. Staff was so polite and accommodating. The rooftop bar is amazing for drinks, view and food! Breakfast buffet in the dining room was also perfect. Overall gorgeous hotel and loved staying in the luxury hotel area. So much quieter than the busy tourist areas I’ve stayed before. Highly recommend this hotel!

I would just say I got pretty disappointed with the room. We booked standard room with king bed. The room was so small, so me and my partner barely was moving around. The bed was absolutely terrible. Pillows covered with plastic covers which was super uncomfortable. I barely could sleep for 5 nights. Cover was also very uncomfortable. I usually don’t write bad reviews but to be honest, I was happy to leave this hotel :( And the price wise this place and pretty expensive to have such an experience.
