Hotel Route - Inn Omagari Ekimae

Very convenient location next to JR Station from where can connect with Shinkansen or local JR services to other places locally. Hotel great, clean, free breakfast available, friendly staff.

Breakfast is good. Location is jut fine; easy walking with luggage. Community bath is clean.

Just next to the railway station which is great since it was snowing heavily when I went. Friendly staff who are extremely helpful. Large room (largest one of the japanese inns that i've stayed in over the last 3 days) with complimentary use of a public bath (Onsen). Breakfast was also really good!

Hotel was close to the station and very easy to find. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were also very clean though small. Overall a very satisfying stay and would recommend. Also enjoyed the public bath very much!

It's a good place to stay, the price is reasonable. The hotel is near the Omagari Ekimae. Having the breakfast included is a definite plus. You're within walking distance of the Samurai House. The hotel staff was very helpful and courteous. I would stay here again.

I'm sure this hotel's check in process and rules makes sense to the people who created them, but, at least as a foreigner, I have to say they make no sense and lead to a poor check-in experience and bad first impression. Apparently there is some membership you can buy for ¥1500 that gives you a rebate on reservations made directly with the hotel and gives you priority check in at 3pm instead of their usual 4pm. 4pm is a bit late, but I understand giving your own members a preference and priority. Fine. Note that I had to research and figure this out on my own, after the fact, because none of this was communicated to me directly. This makes no sense, however, when someone shows up at 3:20, exhausted after a 15 hour flight from followed by 4 hours on the train, and despite having a room ready and sitting empty, you force them to sit and wait a half hour until exactly 4pm rolls around. I pre-paid my hotel so I wouldn't get any discount from the membership anyway, so what this policy (or, more precisely, the crazy implementation of it where you make people sit and wait needlessly) effectively does is punish tourists who are either first trying out your hotel or someone visiting only one. This leaves a poor first impression and discourages me from returning. Also, if you are going to have this policy and enforce it so blindly, you need to do a better job of informing and accommodating guess. Don't just tell me to sit for an undetermined amount of time.

I always stay there when I visit my home town, Train station is just 3 mins walk, you can go for jogging on river bank of Omonogawa river . Breakfast always reminds me of my home cooking food.

We stayed for 3 nights and we have a wonderful time. We enjoyed the onsen and the fantastic breakfast. It is worth your money.

Love the convenience and short distance from train station. Clean rooms and assessable to various food options.

Friendly staff and good facilities. The bed is the only downfall , it is a bit hard and uncomfortable to sleep specially our long karate training.
