We had such a lovely time here! We had requested a crib and they not only brought one and set it up really nicely, they also brought wipes and diapers and a diaper pail for us to use, which was all unexpected and so helpful. Our 15-month old slept really well in the crib. The room was very comfortable and we had everything we needed and the service was so thoughtful and nice at every turn. We also loved the hotel breakfast - everything was delicious, highly recommend the French toast and the sesame doughnuts.

Amazing hotel with so many lovely qualities, I am not sure where to start. Everything about this hotel was so rich! The lobby was beautiful, the rooms were spacious and well appointed and the staff made you feel like royalty. I felt so pampered! So many amenities in the room!

The hotel was located in a quiet part of the city closer to the sea but walkable to the more busier sunset-dori area in Kobe.
The hotel was stylish and unique which contributed to our enjoyable stay.
From the clean and comfy rooms to the enjoyable breakfast on the top floor with a view we were always greeted by polite and welcoming staff.
The underground car parking for guests was a bonus and very convenient.
I also advised the hotel my wife was pregnant to provide non slip bathroom mats and they went one step further by providing a pregnancy pillow!
Would def come back and stay here again.

Honestly I was so pleasantly surprised, it had amazing views, super helpful staff and amazing rooms and amenities. If it wasn’t a little above my price range I wish I could have stayed all week.

This hotel does not have the lobby on the first floor. We need to go to 17th floor. There is only one staff at the hotel entrance at the first floor and I had a hard time to get a tax cab. One stuff at the entrance is not acceptable at all for the price I paired to stay at this hotel. The credit card reader did not work well to read my foreign credit card.

I’ve stayed here a number of times and it’s always the same (in a good way) - lovely, well-maintained property, excellent and thoughtful service, central location and - do yourself a favour - room service breakfast is terrific, while the breakfast room buffet’s a bit generic.

This was the most beautiful and luxurious hotel I've ever stayed in. The facilities were excellent, the staff were attentive and friendly. My favorite thing about my stay was the room itself and the amenities in the room. The bathroom (shared shower and large soaking tub) was a treat, especially the aromatic bath salts after a long flight. I hope to return to Kobe and stay here again!

Great staff, but failed to pick us up from our cruise ship—over an hour late so we ended up with a taxi after major language issues. Good location, but rooms are not modernized. Decent value for money but probably will try another hotel on next visit.

it was only one night stay but it was the most pleasant stay as always. the only one odd thing we saw was the homeless lady was hanging around the main entrance at night. The next morning when we were leaving, she was still there deeply sleeping on the chair. She is no harm. Kind of famous quiet homeless lady in the neighborhood without any bothersome behavior whatsoever. But still it's not great for the hotel reputation and we worried about how tourists think about the whole situation. Other than that it's always almost perfect at this best hotel in KOBE. We are so proud of ORIENTAL HOTEL.
