Great budget hotel. Room was clean, not big but spacious enough for two of us. Shower and bathroom combination was also very clean and spacious. Had an elevator for those who are concerned about managing stairs with suitcases. Friendly staff as well. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The air conditioner wasn't working properly in my room 211 for August 13, 14 and checking out on 15.
I noticed that the reception area was nice and cool while my room was warm. I mentioned it to the receptionist and he did mentioned that they were making an effort to repair it. Two young female travelers who were at the hotel were sitting down in the reception area to cool down.
A recommendation would be to add a ceiling fan to the room. It would aid in cooling the place down more efficient.

L'hôtel est bien situé. Bcp de choses qu'on peut faire à pieds. Bcp de cafés et restaurants autour. La chambre est très petite. On est du Canada,' on est habitué avec du grand espace. Mais pour un court séjour c'est ok.

The room I had in this hotel made every inch of space useful to squeeze in a double bed and a shower room.
I've seen people say it's too small and cramped but it is more than adequate if you're just gonna use the hotel to sleep after exploring Amsterdam during the day.
The only thing I felt the room lacked was storage and surfaces, such as a table.
My shower door made an awful noise when opened but this was reported to the hotel in their own correspondence. They even gave me a discount voucher by email, which was nice.
The hotel is very close to the metro and tram lines and there are shops and dining nearby, if you need it. It doesn't take long to get to the centre of Amsterdam though.
I'd recommend travelling to the food halls, either Market 33 near Amsterdam Zuid or Foodhallen in Oud-West.
It's a good budget hotel in a pricier city. Though budget in Amsterdam is not budget in some cities, for one of Amsterdam's cheaper hotels it's perfectly fine.
