The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They all spoke English very well and I had no communication issues. The hotel was very clean and well kept and though the room was small compared to American hotel rooms, it was more than enough for just myself staying a few nights. The bathroom was especially nice. The breakfast area was very large and kept immaculately clean, and the buffet was very much worth the extra price. The hotel was about a 20 minute bus ride to the Centraal station, as well as to Leidseplein, the area of town near the Hard Rock Cafe and not far from the Rijksmuseum. (This is where a nice walking/ shopping area was close-by and where a couple of my boat tours started from.) I purposely picked this hotel so that as a female traveling alone I would to be a little away from the main touristy areas and the main station, and definitely not in the red light district, especially at night. The hotel is in what feels like a very residential and normal area and I felt very safe walking the couple minutes from the bus or tram station to the hotel, even at night time. I would definitely stay here again if I ever visited Amsterdam again. Thank you.

One bus ride away from Amsterdam central. Staff were amazing, friendly and courteous. The aisles going to the rooms smells so good. Rooms were perfect for a couple considering theres an ample room for the luggages and breakfast food were sumptuous. The only thing we didn't like were the pillows. Its uncomfortable because there's barely any fillings left in it. They need to replace those. Overall, it's still highly recommended.

Stay was okay..rooms were nice enough but when we arrived was asked to pay 50€ for something that wasn’t mention at any point before we arrived, the heating didn’t work in the room so it was always so cold, the shower water was so hot you couldn’t stand in it and unable to change the temperare. Also no towels, the rooms were noisy so could hear everyone walking around, one tiny pillow and the bed were super very hard😂 other than that it was okay

The air conditioning in the room was leaking, so they transferred us to another room. Accdg to the staff it was an upgrade but it was no exhaust, no place to hang towels, no towels, no glasses and cups. And the floors are made from wood so it was so noisy when people on the next floor and beside were walking.

Shower is broken, unable to adjust, no cold water, managed to finish shower, countertop dirty, I wipe with my tower, turned yellow, one of the big tower has stain on it, no instructions for service in room, had to go to service desk to get hair dryer, has smells in the room. I don't think this is 3 star hotel.thanks.

Our breakfasts were supposed to be included in stay and hotel insisted they were not on their system even though i had proof. Staff was rude. There were dubious stains on the wall and on sheets. When i asked for my check out printout i was refused as i was not allowed to see different prices to what i paid. I said i wanted to make sure i was not being charged for extras we did not have as they had my card details. They took a long time to give me this after seemingly deleting items from the bill. I will be checking my credit card statement on my return to UK. Very disapointing.

Room was OK. Lovely bathroom but walls in room required to be repaired and repainted as they were badly marked. We booked and paid for breakfast through Expedia but not honoured by hotel despite us providing evidence from Expedia that breakfast was booked and paid for. When we questioned this with the manager he was unhelpful to the point of being rude and aggressive and dismissed any attempt to resolve. The rest of the staff were pleasant. We are still trying to resolve this through Expedia but no joy to date

Gorgeous decor & the comfiest of beds! Showers were incredible, the bathroom design was perfect! Only unfortunate feature was the lack of soap/shampoo/coffee/tea which we had to request more of each night The breakfast looked stunning each morning & staff were friendly enough , one of which went above and beyond to help me out in the mornings with any medical issues I had would love to stay again Thankyou

Poor experience - overcharged 30€ at hotel for taxes, was given the wrong room & then had staff members coming into our room during the evening whilst we were in bed. Cleaning was not up to standard…. When we arrived there was cigarette ash on the bathroom side & was still there when we checked out (despite room being “cleaned” 3 times). No tv facilities - screen mirror function didn’t work. On check in, had 2 large towels & 2 hand towels in room after room cleaned we were only left 4 hand towels. Tea/coffee not replenished despite staying for 4 nights Staff unhelpful & overall, poor experience & not value or quality for the price paid
