pool floor very slippery disable access to office unusable. generally tired and shabby, water in loo was constantly running. generally bit sad and neglected

Room spacious and well appointed for the price. Plumbing could do with maintenance. Kettle leaked when pouring.

Great spot for a short stop in New Plymouth. Loved the four bed option, the kitchen and proximity to groceries. Air conditioning would be nice as rooms got a bit warm.

The lady at reception was welcoming and friendly. We were give room 49. It’s at the back of the property, it old and run down. The hot water was near non existent. Wouldn’t recommend unless you you were in front rooms. Wouldn’t stay again.

Nice and clean, although very dated, especially shower & bathroom. Bed uncomfortable, could see the indentations, with raised area in centre. Sheets lovely and clean. The signs that say heated pool should be covered/changed, as it's not heated. Clear signs around the area once we were in, but for the sake of clarity, signage should all be the same. The spa pool could have done with a clean, underfoot felt slimy, I didn't venture further than that. Wanted to have door open and net curtain pulled across for privacy, but curtain attached to the door. Little things, but all add up when you are paying for a service. Chose this location for proximity. Time for owners to update.

I'd book here again as it had all I needed, decent air flow, lots of interior space and so conveniently located.

This was well located and had all the basic things needed. Staff were friendly enough. Only real complaint is the spa smelt like a dirty fish pond and we spelt for a while after even after a shower

Awesome price, close to city and places we wanted to visit. Helpful friendly staff. Plenty of comfortable beds with great clean linen and towels. quiet surroundings. Good shower pressure and plenty of crockery etc. Thanks, enjoyed our stay, will definitely book again.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! WARNING - BLACK MOULD ON WALLS - Manager aware of this!!! Place hasn’t been cleaned in years!!!! Bathroom - fan so disgustingly filthy - never been cleaned, behind doors & in all corners on floor’s massive build up of dirt, dust, hair - some pubic. Black mould on all walls in bedrooms - when showed manager photos she knew what it was - was going to take it up with the owners apparently - however - didn’t stop her letting the unit to us!!!!! Bet it’s still being let to other poor unsuspecting people. Carpet threadbare, fans provided were black from dust, hot water scolding hot, shower has black mould as well as part of walls broken. Kitchen very dated & worn. Walls had wallpaper which was ripped, bedroom furniture top peeling away from unit. I cleaned a bit of black mould off bedroom wall to see if it came off - most of it did - took me 2 mins without jiff or any cleaning products. I have written to Hospitality Assn as this is so disgusting dirty & run down, it should be shut down until it is fit for staying in. I really wish I could upload photos to show the filthy run down place that we paid close to $800 for 3 night - 3 adults - should have been offered a refund for putting our health at risk - I’ve just recovered from cancer so not impressed at all!!! Oh & the heated pool - not heated of course!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

Was good in general. Everything clean and organized. After hour service on call 👍

Had all the sky channels and was comfortable. Water pressure was very weak when having a shower.

The property is very convenient we were able to walk to shops and restaurants. But the room is in need of some maintenance. Raewyn went the extra mile to find us a room on the ground floor when she saw we had difficulty with stairs which was really great.

Bathroom was mouldy and needed a spruce up. Bed was not queen size and a bit small. Otherwise adequate for our needs Pool use was difficult in that we needed to book a time.

The Property was okay, was very old and staff was okay. Could have been better.

It was very convenient to the place that we were going to. Guests were fighting outside of their rooms which woke people up.

Assuming its for emergency housing. A family LIVING there with children running and banging on walls on the second floor drives us crazy.

Stayed a couple of night with our babies. Our room was suitable for our family and had all the basic necessities. We took the kids for a swim as this place advertises a heated pool but the pool isn't heated at all and is cold. This was the reason we chose to stay here, had we known we'd have stayed elsewhere. Also the pool and spa smelt really bad. Our kids also said it smelt like pee and we all had to have long soapy showers afterwards to get the smell off. After that day we told the kids the pool was broken. This was the biggest disappointment of our stay. My advice is the change your advertising and be honest!

Reasonably priced, clean, spacious. Nice pool and spa complex. Pleasant staff
