Great welcome late on front desk, great hotel

The hotel has the wow factor and the location is absolutely perfect. We are already looking forward to coming back again soon.

Good

Excellent hotel. The highlights are the comfortable beds and the Karoline breakfast. Not so good would be loud music on the weekend and sound from the tram in the mornings.

Ideally located in the center of Oslo. Easy walk through the Christmas market, and five minutes from the piers hosting fjord cruises. Breakfast was perfect, plentiful options - fresh juices, broad selection of cheeses, pastries, etc. Concierge was phenomenal at locking in a multi-course dinner, same day. Room was immaculate.

This hotel is very well-appointed with a helpful staff. The problem (hence 4 instead of 5 stars) is that it is like 2 hotels. The first night my room faced a major turnaround that has the constant (all night) noise of trams - it has a turnaround for them in addition to being along tram lines. If you want a quiet place to street you need to ask NOT to face this street. After a sleepless night I asked to change rooms and was put in a very quiet room facing the courtyard. At that point it was an exact opposite experience. Apart from that, the hotel is extremely well-appointed in terms of amenities in the room - and the on-site restaurant is lovely. It is near a harbor with lots of shops and restaurants, as well as the National Museum. All in all, the experience was terrible the first night, but turned wonderful as soon as I changed to a much quieter location.

Parking is tough. I felt like they could have been more accommodating with guests who come with vehicles. The location was excellent. Room was nice .

Great stay at Hotel Continental. Professional, friendly service from assistance with luggage, restaurant suggestions and easy check in. Room was Great!! Clean, comfortable bed and spacious. Restaurant in hotel and breakfast in hotel was top notch with buffet as well as included menu ordering. Parking was easy and i would highly recommend and would stay again when in Oslo.

Very nice hotel, worth the 5-star rating. very walkable to a lot of places, 100 feet from a major bus and light rail stop.

Nice stay, breakfast should have been better, overall good stay, but being a 5-star the experience should have been remarkable and even though it was good it left nothing extraordinary for our memories. I feel the emails I wrote well ahead of my stay to prevent any discomfort should have been taken seriously, after the first night we had to change rooms due to some technical issue with the first assigmed room.
