Sorrisniva Arctic Wilderness Lodge

It was an amazing trip. Hotel facilities are great and clean. Food is delicious. Room really clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly. We could see the nothern lights from the hotel Really recommend

The hospitality was fantastic. The restaurants on property were outstanding. The excursions were unforgettable. Don’t look further, this place was incredible.

Oh my a very well thought out design with rooms overlooking the river/stream. Nice balcony and every opportunity to see the Northern Lights in your room and on your balcony! A bit out from the town which was extra nice but not too far either! Daniel & Lars greeted us warmly! Auskin served our meal and was a fun bonus to our stay. Sonja made our morning with such a kind smile as we had breakfast! (Sorry for misspelling names!). We rested well. The hot chocolate was fantastic…thank you to all for a wonderful stay!

Best place ever and the activities were great.

Beautiful location, stylish rooms and excellent staff. The fine dining restaurant and its tasting menu was terrific. So was the food in the Lavvu restaurant although I hope they expand the menu to include more choices in the future. Breakfast was buffet and plentiful. We stayed a night at the Ice Hotel which was a fun experience. We also went on two excursions with them which we enjoyed. I write for the blog Paradox Travels and will do an extended review there. So if interested, look us up and read a more extensive review with photos there in the upcoming month.

The hotel itself is lovely and the staff are very friendly. Bedrooms are a good size with lovely bathrooms and amazing views. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. The restaurant Makku was excellent however you cannot really eat there every night. Lavvu which is the other restaurant is nice however when you were there for more than two or three days the menu is a bit repetitive. the excursions were excellent and the guides were fantastic. Overall an incredible stay and a great experience.

Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht da, aber wir hätten locker noch ein paar Tage dort verbringen können.

Aivan täydellinen hotelli sijainnin ja palveluiden osalta. Ravintolassakin kertakaikkisen hyvä menu. MUTTA onnistuneelle yöpymiselle ja majoituksen mukavuudelle oli pakko antaa huonot pisteet huoneen lämpötilan takia. Hotels.comin sivustolla huoneen kuvauksessa mainittiin ilmastointi. Hotellin omalla sivustolla (kun tuohtuneena sitä paikan päällä tarkastelin) ilmastointia ei kylläkään mainita. Huoneessamme oli tullessa lämpötila 31 astetta, yön aikana laski 26 asteeseen pation oven ollessa auki ja paikalta saadun ’ilmastointilaitteen’ hyrrätessä täysillä. Mitään hyvitystä huoneen hinnasta emme saaneet, ainoastaan saimme veloituksetta perua toisen yön (kun olimme tehneet varauksen kahdesta yöstä). Tämä jäi harmittamaan. Hotellin johto ei reagoinut tilanteeseen oikealla tavalla. Tämän tason hotellissa 30 asteen huonelämpötila ei ole hyväksyttävä.

Maten var helt utrolig fantastisk nydelig og servicen var topp! Herlig utsikt til Alta elva fra rommet gjorde at vi hadde lyst på mange flere netter. Så fredelig og vakkert

Todella hieno ja hyvin hoidettu. Kauniisti sisustettu, hyvät sängyt. Aamiainen loistava, harmittelimme jälkeenpäin ettemme syönneet illallista hotelissa, joka olisi ollut sekin kokemuksen arvoinen.

Aivan huikean hieno paikka. Ei tarvi miettiä menemmekö uudestaan, varmasti! Todella hyvät ruuat ja hieno, puhdas ja viihtyisä paikka. Palvelu tosi hyvää. Kiitos vielä kaikesta
