We enjoyed our stay, and the very central location, with several restaurants, a new Irish pub, and the Christmas market metres away. Staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. The "julefrokost"was plentiful with a wide array of traditional Norwegian Christmas dishes. Our only complaint is that the food was on the cold side for our tastes, even when we showed up at opening time. We used the exercise room, and also enjoyed the second-floor lounge.

Really great location and conveniently the airport bus stops outside too so easy to get from and to airport. Friendly and helpful reception staff, lovely room and generous sized bathroom (not always the case with other Thon hotels I’ve stayed in), good choice at breakfast too and lounge area to relax in the evening. Would not hesitate to stay here when I return

Fantastic hotel! Great walking distance from the few attractions and transportation options. We took the bus to and from the airport and it stopped right outside! The breakfast buffet was by far the best we have ever had! The beds and pillows were so comfortable- especially after hiking Pulpit Rock. Oh and the shower water pressure and temp was perfect. We loved staying at Thon and excited for our other Thon accommodations in other cities.

Good staff, great location. But the guy in the bed next to me snores like a rocket so my stay here was a terrible decision. I only slept for two hours before leaving at 3am. The snoring guest should have been kicked out for being the nuisance he is.

Perfect hotel in the best location. Walkable distance to all the main sites, restaurants and shopping area. The flybuss (bus from/to the airport) stops just in front of the hotel too, which is super convenient. The hotel is kept clean and modern. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve tried, great selection of produce and very good quality. Definitely recommended.

The staff here were great; very helpful. The room we had was very small; barely enough room to walk around the bed. Other than that it was comfortable. The carpet in the hallways was old and seemed dirty in spots.
