Stayed here 2 nights over the weekend in December 2024, the only good thing about this hostel is the location. Room: - The beds: are ok, and they provide a cover and a blanket, no duvet. Maybe you need to ask, I did not ask for one, but it's winter 🥶 . Also, it's a hostel. - shower: the water pressure is not the best, so best to use it during non-peak hours (when less people are using it) - noise: can hear every conversation outside the room, from inside your own room. Can hear other guests' loud footsteps too. Everything else? It's a hostel, so don't expect too much. Get social and connect with other people. Price: You pay the price for the location. Comfort and amenities? Go somewhere else.

I stayed in the women's bunk for 3 nights. The location is incredible, beds are great although the floorboards are creeky, the women's showers and sinks are clean, and the living room is spacious. The reception does feel a little cliquey but they seem to be always available. Laundry is 5 euro to wash and 4 euro to dry, which you handle yourself. Breakfast is not free, you must pay if you'd like to partake. I would consider staying here again if i ever return to Porto because of the location.

Be careful using the kitchen and fridges, don't trust the other people in the hostel. When you put your food in the fridge, not even a night later your food will probably get stolen by the inconsiderate junkies probably looking to not cook food, seeing as my morning juice and cheese were inconsiderately drank from. Learn from me and dont use the fridges unless you have to, and store stuff you need to cook or something. Remember that the people who come to hostels are not paying much for rooms and are probably not going to pay much for food either!! Breakfast is 3.50 euros pp/night. There's two bread rolls, two cheese slices, one coffee and one juice. If you buy stuff, keep it in your own room ffs, there's a locker and it'll help prevent those garbage thieves stealing your food

Hostel with a good, central location and very social. A free welcome drink was a nice treat. Well maintained room with curtains around beds. Shared bathrooms could be better maintained and renovated though. Unfortunately rooms do not have fly screens, so rather than opening windows I’d recommend asking reception to turn on the room AC to avoid being bitten by mosquitoes in the night.
