It's such a lovely space and hotel. You can just chill and inspire yourself by the lovely garden or relax in the living. Every room is nicely decorated and themed with art.
The owner is such a lovely person. There were no babybed but since we had one with us, it was okay.
We loved it!

The place was wonderful, the owner was very friendly, the breakfast was delicious and the pool was exactly what we needed at the end of a hot day!
It is quite possibly the best hotel experience I have ever had. Can't wait to come back!

A beautiful and tranquil refuge— highly recommended.
Absolutely loved staying here at the end of our Portugal trip. It's about an hour from Lisbon and only 30 minutes from Nazaré. Ed, the owner, is wonderful. The rooms are tastefully done and each has a different theme. My wife booked us in the Music room, which had a classical guitar; great as I am a guitarist. The kids were in the Movie room.
There is a small swimming pool which the kids enjoyed.
We visited the charming town of Óbidos, about 35 minutes away, while we stayed here.
We would definitely stay there again.

Our room was very cold and we had to sleep under two blankets without even taking our clothes off. We did ask for an extra heater and the owner provided it, but it didn't seem to help.
When we woke up in the morning, the main heater in the room didn't work.
The coffee machine ate the capsule but didn't make coffee.
When I told this to the owner during the check-out, he pretended to not understand it (even though his English is very good), laughed and said something along the lines "ah, sure, you drank coffee, 1 euro".
And the final accord - after our 100% honest review, the owner contacted us and threatened to file a lawsuit.
Terrible, absolutely terrible experience. Stay away!
