What an amazing hotel! This was one of the highlights on our trip - the staff are next level friendly and helpful :) . The hotel was a highlight of our trip, the views were amazing, breakfast was great - we cannot wait to come back.

Sadly, only a one night stop over whilst travelling the Garden Route, but we will go back for longer.
Superb hotel with great service and very friendly staff.
Room was large and spotless, and the food was delicious both evening meal and breakfast.

A lovely hotel with an old fashioned sense of service. We parked directly outside the hotel and had a lovely welcome from one of the managers who showed us our rooms ( in the annex) - our bags were brought up straight away. It was my birthday so they had upgraded us to a suite with a partial sea view. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with hairdryers and Milton brown toiletries. We didn’t use either of the pools as it was cold but they looked clean and inviting. We had pre dinner drinks in the bar and ate dinner in the restaurant - all very well presented and delicious. Would happily stay again. Delightful shopping area at the top of the street too.

The Plettenberg is a great, small luxury hotel where service is very attentive and all staff pay good attention to detail. A good complimentary mini-bar.
Fabulous views and a good location for the town.
Whilst the bathroom was absolutely fine I would say that these are probably the next thing to be done on the list to advance the standard to the best on the market, ie, walk in rain showers etc.
