Loved this hotel, will definitely stay here again. We came to Málaga to see the Christmas lights, so only stayed a couple of nights, I don't like busy cities so thought this hotel looked ideal. It's close enough to drive in, yet it's in the middle of nature. We did manage to get one short hike in whilst we were there and the area is incredible. The room was rustic, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and we had dinner here too on the second night. The staff were very good and friendly.

Definitely worth a stop. Nice contrast to the tourist centers at the coast. This little chalet in the forest is really a milestone on our road trip.

Peace and quiet. Incredible drive through the hills with spectacular views. The hotel is tucked away with many walks. We only stayed 1 night on our road trip and loved the meal, booze, views, waking to the dawn chorus.

This hotel is exactly what it advertises. Small charming, remote, peaceful, integrated into the natural environment. The staff works extremely hard to ensure the comfort and convenience that is consistent with a remote, hiking and relaxation center. Everyone of them was super attentive to all the guests. The reading and communal meeting room features a fireplace that the staff stokes regularly. The dining fare is country family style. The dozen choices are presented on a chalkboard refreshed daily. We enjoyed a cold January for hiking local trails. The staff always checked that extra heaters would be available if we were away from the fireplace. Lunch and dinner are economical, tasty, varied and sufficient. We chose breakfast-included, worth the investment. We enjoyed the corner room with its own spiral staircased tower room overlooking the ravine. Perfect for reading or writing. The small pool was crystal clear but January was not the time to use it. The local wild pig troop came through as did the fox the staff had rescued from a trap. Great experience. But don’t come wanting a coddled resort style.

Hotel is in a nice location, but when I booked I looked for hotels with a pool when we got there they told us the pool is not working, no partial refund was given
