It’s close to the ferry

The staff did not care to assist me in any way. My sofa bed was not made up. They asked me to open it myself, telling me the linens, pillows and the towels are all already inside. When I asked if the sheets and everything was new or has been sitting around inside the bed for a while , the answer I was given was “ I think so, I don’t know”. I asked if housekeeping can come to take care of this and was told they don’t do that. I wouldn’t trust the cleanliness of these sheets or pillows. When the sofa bed was opened, everything was so wrinkled and looked very unkempt. Not a pleasant look or a comfortable sleep sensation. Poorly done.

The hotel was very nice and the service at the restaurant was fantastic! Also jacuzzi was great! Would definitely stay at this hotel again :)

The hotel is in a very nice spot. Unfortunately the pool was closed for renovation which wasn't shown on hotels.com. The checkout also differed during the summer period which we luckily spotted at the last minute. The WIFI didn't work either. Kind of brings the overall impression down. The view was great, the staff was friendly and the food very delicious.

The location is great especially if you’re heading to or from Gotland. The hotel is quite dated but not in bad condition just old design. We stayed there the hottest night of the year 2020 and the our sub terrain room was too warm for comfort and sleep. If you drive an electric car be avare that there are only 2 parking slots available for charging rated at single phase 10A. Friendly staff served an ok meal much better than dining at the ferry. If they solve the charging for a Tesla we’ll be back.

Stayed only one night but really enjoyed the location and the views.

Had a pleasant stay at Best Western Hotel Corallen, situated right on the edge of the Baltic Sea. Great view from our room (and probably almost all rooms). Friendly staff and good breakfast too. One drawback IMO was the lack of proper night blinders. Normal dark hanging curtains is not enough to really contain nordic summer morning sunrises, and a room that becomes pretty light again already around 04.10 in the morning is hard to sleep well in if you - like me - is sensitive to that. But the sunrise view was spectacular.

I never checked in at this hotel. The reservation was made in error, not realizing that the hotel is 80 kilometers away from Kalmar. When searching for hotels in Kalmar, this hotel was given as a place to stay. This is a mistake by Expedia, to provide a hotel suggestion that is 80 kilometers away from the destination. I instead stayed at the Best Western Plus in Kalmar at additional cost. As a result, I am requesting a refund for the reservation at the Corallen hotel.

Excellent all round except for approach via an industrial estate. Relaxing environment.

Water views and breakfast were excellent. We needed an extra room that was booked several months ago and due to medical problems two family members cancelled two rooms several weeks ago but, we were charged a much higher rate for a single room. Upon questioning reason, we were told " due to contcert". We were a family that stayed three nights in 8 rooms?

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location right onto the gorgeous Baltic coastline. The service was typically Swedish, efficient, welcoming, informal and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. I would have stayed longer if work had not dragged me away

Trevligt hotell på gångavstånd från centrum. Fina rum, det enda som inte var topp var badrummet (duschen) som skulle behöva uppdateras annars var allt kanon. Härligt spa där vi nästan var ensamma. Mycket god mat i restaurangen och en frukostbuffé som inte lämnade mycket mer att önska. Bra service med trevliga personer på hela hotellet.

Trevligt hotell. Sköna sängar. Ganska lyhört från rum jämte liksom från korridor (äldre byggnad). De gamla fönstren stänger inte heller ute mycket ljud. Frukosten är riktigt bra, goda röror och god varm buffé. Även fräscha därgjorda grejer och närproducerat finns. Bageribakat bröd = stort plus. Öggröra gjord från grunden = oxå stort plus. Så god! En äldre bastudel med torr- & ångbastu. En nyare fräsch del med 2 jacuzzi (en har bubbelfunktion) samt bastu. Ganska litet spa och därför ganska fullt, men tidigt i veckan lättare få plats. En liten inomhuspool håller på byggas ser det ut som. Utomhuspool finns också. Middagen var bra (hälleflundran tog jag o den var perfekt) för alla utom en av oss som fick fisk (gös) full av småben varför hen inte kunde äta den. Restaurangen drog av priset för denna rätt, men tyvärr kom ingen och frågade hur maten var - under varmrätten - vilket hade varit lämpligt. Lätt parkera. Rekommenderas.
