Trevligt bemötande, Exotisk miljö som tar en tillbaka i tiden

It was a very nice and relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings!

Amazing old times swedish environment, exelent spa, good service and personell, not top class but fullfills every expectation.

Nice area for short walks. Rooms comfortable. Friendly personell. An unusual stay.

Sängarna var under all kritik. Alldeles för mjuk sängbotten. Jag fick och har fortfarande väldigt ont i ryggen efter denna förfärliga säng. Ångrar denna bokning.

Fantastisk miljö och bra frukost. Trevlig personal. Det som är synd är att det inte framgick i bokningen att vi skulle bo på deras Bed & Breakfast. För att vara en BnB var det väl ok standard, men så fort vi öppnade dörren till vårat rum möttes vi av ett högt, susande/brummande fläktljud. Sannolikt något med ventilationen från vinden ovanför oss. Mycket lyhört. Inget för den ljudkänslige. Trots då eventuell ventilation på högvarv var rummet hett som en bastu och kvavt som en öken. Detta + att det inte framgick att det var just detta vi hade bokat drar ner betyget.

Mycket trevligt och mysig miljö med vänlig personal. Vårt rum var bra och vi hade en fantastisk sommarkväll med god mat och dryck utomhus. Det ända lilla minus är att jag brukar äta äggröra och bacon på hotell men gillar inte pulver äggröra.

An amazing oasis several hundred years old kept in a mint conditions opens up suddenly, as you approach the bridge leading to the property. The room we stayed was decorated with 18th century style furnishings, beautiful view of water, modern bath with beautiful details. The spa overlooking the water, both inside and outside, just added to the paradise feeling. Dinner was gourmet style, elegantly presented and delicious. A cave with one hundred year old champagne and wine recovered from a sea wrench has been beautifully arranged and worth a visit. A perfect destination for a celebration, as entering a different time capsule.

Das Hotel hat nur eine Option für Gäste mit Haustiere: die Junior Suite namens Dammstugan, ein separates Häuschen in schöner Parkanlage neben einem Bächlein, mit Wohnzimmer und Bad im Erdgeschoss und Schlafzimmer im Loft. Der Vintage-Einrichtungsstil ist Geschmackssache, und fühlte sich im Wohnzimmer sehr drückend, dunkel und schäbig an (auch bedingt durch die niedrige Raumhöhe). Das Sofa war alles andere als einladend, man konnte spüren, dass es eine Hundecouch war und deswegen niemals erneuert wurde. Das Bad sowie das Doppelbett hingegen waren modern mit hohem Komfort und Standard. Im Häuschen befindet sich leider keine Kaffeküchenniesche, kein kleiner Kühlschrank, keine Klimaanlage (es war unerträglich stickig und heiß) und man konnte wegen den Mücken kein Fenster öffnen, da keine Mückennetze vorhanden waren. Der Ventilator half ein wenig, allerdings war dieser nicht geräuscharm. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausgezeichnet, das Personal sehr freundlich. Wir zahlten 280 Euro/Nacht - das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt meiner Ansicht nach nicht, da gängige Features eines 5-Sterne Hotels fehlten und das Jahrhundertwende-Häuschen mit seiner Einrichtung weder mit Frische noch mit Gepflegtheit beeindrucken, stattdessen fühlte ich mich als Haustierbesitzer diskriminiert.

Allt var utmärkt, förutom att vi väldigt sent blev informerade om att både restaurang och spa var stängt.

Slitet och maten var inget jag vill äta igen. Servicen var toppen.

Surroundings are amazing! And food is great! Staff a bit confused, and to be honest, they could’ve been a bit more service minded. The guest before us didn’t return the key to the room (real key, no cards), so we got the spare key. I really hope he’s not coming back, they said at the reception. I asked if there’s a possibility to change room, but they were fully booked. Same afternoon, he walked into our room, wounding what we were doing there 😟. Send him to the reception to clear things up. He’s got another room.( Fully booked?) After a very good dinner I asked, to be sure of no more surprises, that the key was returned, and was ensured of that. So I was a bit surprised in the morning, after breakfast, the door opens again without knocking. This time it was housekeeping, that’s been told we already checked out. So, long story short, I expect a bit more order of a hotel who’s slogan is “treats everyone like a king”.

Ett utmärkt boende med bra service och god mat. Fantastiska omgivningar med möjlighet till bad och vattenaktiviteter utanför dörren. Ett extra plus för den fina promenadstigen runt sjön och den fina uteserveringen på en pontonbrygga i vattnet.
