Chao Motel

We love this motel the best compare to other 4 hotels in Taipei. Great free breakfast with Steak and Grilled fish and many variety and yummy food. Spacious with 3 beds, with windows and a garage. We ordered a room for 4 people, there is 2 showers, 2 bath and a bath tub which my son loves to play toys in it. Staffs are very friendly and sweet, fast check in and out, they helped me called Taxi to airport. I get there by public bus easily. Nearby has lots of restaurants which is right there or walkable distance. We will come back again!

Great stay the bed was very nice and bathtub was a unexpected surprise.

Rooms were clean, staff always around to help and offer assistance each time we walked by the front desk. The breakfast buffet is amazing and everything we experienced was top tier like how it would be in a top tier hotel in the states. Will be my go to spot to stay in the future when coming back to Taiwan.

Breakfast included

This is the perfect property if you have a family of 6 as it has two very large rooms and two bathrooms. It was nice to check-in and have water, soda, and snacks immediately available in the room. Breakfast is definitely a big perk. Very large selection of foods and even though my family stayed here for 5 days, we never got sick of breakfast. When our tv wasn’t working, staff was very quick to come and fix it. It is pricey by Taiwan standards but I thought it was absolutely worth it. I would absolutely stay here again if traveling with my family. book early as the rooms for 6 book quickly.

The staff were so kind and nice! They accommodated an early check-in for us and offered umbrellas in the rain. We were only staying 1 night for a layover, but extended our stay an additional night because when our flight moved. The best (and probably) only motel I've ever stayed in!

This hotel was absolutely hip, amazing and beautiful. Posted pictures of it all over our Facebook. We really enjoyed our time here.

This was our first time trying a car motel and we had an awesome experience. The place is very clean! Breakfast was fancy and staff was extremely friendly.

It is a special hotel that we like it very much. With such pricing, it is really worth the money-trust me. No regret, the staff is so nice to prepare breakfast for us to take away since we need to leave the place at 6am for airport but buffet breakfast starts at 7am.

Staffs are nice, place is clean and spacious. It’s surrounded by restaurants, cafe and convenient store.

The room was nicely decorated and comfortable, and good for the price, and walking distance from a lot of food options. A few things I didn't realise when I booked: - it's a motel, so designed for people who are driving. Not a big deal that we weren't driving, just that there's no reception room - just a little kiosk where the staff sit at the start of the driveway. We didn't realise at first and didn't know where to go to check in! - I think the hotel is mostly for locals who are driving through, and they had trouble finding my booking on Expedia as he check in staff didn't speak much English. We worked it out in the end, but maybe the problem was that my booking confirmation details I showed them were in English so it was hard for match my booking to whatever was in their system. - the address listed in Expedia is correct, but Google maps (or at least the English version) didn't recognise it. In fact the location that shows up in Google maps when you search for the hotel is just the centre of Taiyuan and not the hotel location at all So we spent a long time trying to figure out what address to enter into Uber. We ended up just finding the location in the map, and then dropping a pin to navigate to it. - the room had a bit of a cigarette smell, but it wasn't too strong so didn't bother us. Anyway, overall a good place to stay for the price, but a few challenges given that we were not very prepared!

This hotel was very updated and modern. It was clean, private, inviting and perfect for our family of four. It was in a great location. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was awesome.
