Such a strategic location you can walk to the near sea and shops. The staff were so friendly. I loved the hotel’s classic Arabian stone design.
The room was huge. Also, the beds are big.
The check-in and check-out system was excellent; they allowed me early check-in and kept my luggage after check-out.
The rooms either overlook the interior pool or the sea and harbor; both views are awesome.
The restaurant is also overlooking and has balcony seating outside.
The only thing I didn't like was that you could hear the ships in the harbor all night :(
I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to stay in the heart of the stone city.

Incredible experience! Highly recommend.
Staff were amazing and always attentive, from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, the staff made us feel like we are family.
The rooms were amazing and incredibly spacious and the views STUNNING! The best view we had in Zanzibar by a long shot.
Overall would highly recommend, an experience that I would never forget!

Great place very quirky the setup of the hotel is like something from the medieval. Staff are very friendly the rooms are huge with balconies. 5 mins walk from the ferry terminal, centrally located and within walking distance to all the tourist attractions. Would definitely stay here again. Priscilla from Australia

Very nice hotel with attentive staff and delicious breakfast! Located perfectly at the seafront and nearby all main attractions in Stone Town. The building itself is very beautiful and interesting. Perfect for a short stay!

This hotel feels like Zanzibar in a nutshell. The architecture and decor is amazing, and you can definitely get lost in this maze of a hotel. If you like beer, then be aware that it is not possible to get any alcohol here. Other than that, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. I can recommend this hotel if you're looking to explore stone town for a few days.
