Excellent 3 night stay with family and perfect facilities for our two young grandchildren- several large pools and slides and play areas

Good family resort

Great family resort.

Excellent location right on the beach and close to restaurants and centre. Rooms were a decent size and pool area didn’t feel cramped. Plenty of sun loungers and various pools.

Overall, it was a great experience. I had an upgrade room, which was nice from the hotel, and i really appreciate it, but the only disappointment thing was the bathroom shower box and sink was not draining , they manage to fix the sink but bathroom shower box was not draining , i was pushed to take a shower in a couple of mins to leave the shower before it gets drowning !

We had an amazing stay at Sunwing. Very polite and friendly staff, the property is kept very clean and well maintained. Tons of pools for kids, different activities to keep them busy. The beach is right at the back door, calm and swimmable. The entire area is family frindly, very safe too.

Fantastic resort that had everything we needed for our family of 4. Family room is huge! Pools were great and lots of sunbeds. Breakfast was delicious. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Amazing resort

Excellent location, fantastic resort for families. Great location with the markets 3 times a week and right next to the beach. Beds were comfy, rooms good size, excellent value for money

We stayed in Sunwing Kamala Beach with our two kids for two weeks.The staff looked after us very well from the very first moment until the end of the holiday. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Pools are big and kids definitely enjoyed 3 water slides in the resort. Resort is right on the beach but unfortunately Sunwing Kamala doesn’t have any sun beds. On the same time it was great to see hotel staff taking care of the rubbish on the beach to keep beach as clean as possible. Breakfast buffet had options for everyone, lunch and dinner options in the restaurant had a great selection of Thai or International dishes. Complimentary kids a la carte was a nice touch. It was our first time in Thailand and we had mixed expectations prior to our holiday but I have to say Sunwing Kamala Beach Resort is on the top of their game. I would definitely recommend it for the families with kids as it is very “family oriented” hotel. I also would like to take the opportunity to say THANK YOU to all the staff in the resort but particularly to FON who looked after us and take care of us very well. Beside of the taste of the dishes her warm and friendly service brought us to dine in the hotel restaurant several times a day rather than eating outside of the hotel. I come from the hospitality business and those staff members are the key of success once it comes to the service. So please keep her as long as you can. See you next time Sunwing Kamala Beach !!!

The rooms are great, but the food is so so. Easy access to the beach, though the beach is not particularly good.

We have stayed at Sunwing before and enjoyed it , liked the pool , the reataurant , like how quickly the staff clean the rooms upon request

We stayed as a family of four(2 adults & 2 kids) .Hotel room was perfect for our family and the staff was friendly and accommodating.Hotel has good entertainment for children ,the only hitch we felt was the hotel location was far away from the famous attractions in Phuket,at least 30 minutes drive. Beach is accessible from the hotel and there is food street in walkable distance.Overall good experience.

We had an amazing stay. The service was excellent, our room was clean and spacious, and the hotel is in a great location. We liked the more quiet region of Kamala. The hotel is next to the beach and you can easily walk to shops/restaurants as well as to FantaSea and the carnival. It was very family friendly. It’s a great hotel.

We stayed in a 'royal pool suite'. It was amazing! Get out of bed and jump in the pool! Free water in fridge every day and good service. FantaSea and Carnival just over the road. Markets outside the hotel 3x a week. They have souvenirs, clothing, gadgets and an awesome food isle. Hotel is close to/at the beach, but the front beach side is reserved for travellers over 16 yrs old. The back side is for families with kids. Very good fun with the 3 big water slides, pool bar and kid's activities. We didn't book any meals here. We just went to restaurants and shops outside. Would definitely come back here.

The place is in very good condition. The facility is well taken care of and it is super big! The buffet is awesome, the pool is beautiful with big slides. The vibes are amazing for kids with kids clubs and activities. Very punctual and well-priced transportation to and from the airport. Reception very helpful and responsive. Rooms are clean, spacious and very cozy. The one thing I did not like is that although the hotel has beach access they do not have umbrellas at the beach. If I want to use the beach I need to rent form Sun Prime which is right beside them and that did not make much sense to me.
