Great location and nice resort. Wished there was a ramp versus steps when going dow hallways to rooms. Hard to navigate with heavy suitcases. Would definitely recommend letting the bell hop take your bags to your room. All in all would come back.

Valet parking was a PLUS! Definitely need a car going around Sedona for hiking and getting to the restaurants it makes it easier! Room was very clean the drinks at the bar were really good! Bartender was really great at his craft! All in all this was a great trip for my husband and I to escape and unwind for a bit.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 days and it was amazing. The location was excellent, right in the heart of Sedona. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Only negative was that we had noisy upstair neighbors for two nights who would walk at all hours and we could hear their footsteps.

The service was excellent from start to end. Food and beverage quality was very good. Only a few very small issues - used glassware was left in hallways for over a day. Coffee not replaced daily

The Amara resort was hands down my favourite place! Everything was beautiful, the staff was friendly and chatty and so willing to take care of us. We went straight to the spa and enjoyed the best massages ever.. thanks to Sandra and Kimberly for that and a relaxing facial from Annie.. we were both so blessed you had time for us when we arrived! We also enjoyed Lydia’s waitressing company at dinner and breakfast , she had some tips of things to do and we did enjoy them!
One day Amara we hope to be back and we hope it’s just as fabulous when we return! Keep up the good work

We booked for $228 a night for just 3 nights and then they change the rates whenever they want. Ended up being charged $1598. Huge rip off. Bait and switch property. Also I use two credit cards on my trips. One for food and drinks. One for room and gas. I paid for my drinks at the Salt Rock bar with my card and did not put the charges on my room. After our trip I look FM through my bills and the bar charged the same amount I paid with my credit card to my room. Double charged or there bartenders are scamming the people by diu le charging hoping they won’t see it. I called. No one has returned my call. I’ll have to fight this through my bank. Probably the most horrible vacation I’ve taken in many many years. There are other places that aren’t like this. Be very careful staying here. They take advantage of tourists.

We really enjoyed our stay at Amara! The property is beautiful. All of the staff were so accommodating, especially the waiters and bartenders. It’s in a great location and you can walk to many shops and dining (and they will take you up the hill in a golf cart if you don’t want to walk!)

This hotel is a complete ripoff. For about 4x the price of a basic Motel 6, that's the room that we got. Small, uncomfortable bed, TV wasn't really working, clock in room was broken, fridge was noisy, gym is tiny etc. Everything in this hotel is far too expensive. Stay away, pick another place.
