We stayed for 6 nights. They provided shampoo, conditioner and bodywash in large size bottles (we didnt know coming into that but was so helpful at not having thay cost/room to pack those items). The castaway cafe on site was quite expensive but Very good! Walking between resorts was awesome. Great walking paths. Two pools. Resort and pools were nicely maintained. Kitchen well stocked with dishes. Grocery store right up the road. The shuttle was fun, transports to a local shopping center. The resort was quiet. The beach directly infront was PRIME. It had WONDERFUL SNORKELING. BRING YOUR OWN SNORKELING ITEMS. we saw a sea tutle every day. We also saw a ton of fish, shark, octopus, eels. All very vibrant colors. This is the place to book! Downfall: i had to call the desk for refills/exchanges of towels and laundry pods. They told me they do not do housekeeping so it was somwthing we had to call to have done (which is kinda annoying because i did pay resort fees which should be covering these types of things). We only had refreshed towels 2x in our whole 6 nights.

This is a beautiful low density property that has one 6 story building but most units are in two story buildings that look out onto lush garden and ocean views. All have kitchens which is amazingly comforting and cost effective instead of dining out every night. This property is RIGHT ON THE BEACH, a beautiful sandy beach with calm waters and no rocks. Tiki torches burn at night, the Castaway Cafe is on property and the food is delicious. Casual but high quality dishes. Sunsets every night viewable from anywhere on property and the large lawn beachfront with comfy chaises under beautiful old trees. Kind professional staff. This place is a dream. You will be soooo glad you chose this property over the hotel room in large crowded hotels. Supermarket is 5 minutes away. Whalers Village is the best shopping on West Maui and everything is easily reachable via the excellent beach boardwalk.

Even the basic service you expect when you stay in a resort like room service, changing towels etc, were at an additional cost. Since the property is owned by owners, there is hardly any parking available as most of the parking lots are reserved for owners.

We enjoyed the convenience of how close we were to the beach. We felt as though the staff could have been a little more welcoming, friendly, and been open to communication. We have stayed there before and had the best time, but this time felt very different and almost the complete opposite.

The property was generally pretty dated both inside and outside. We were on the first floor and our room was so musty/humid that our swimsuits didn’t dry after hanging for over 24 hours. By the end of the week everything felt “wet”. Also, housekeeping only came once during our stay (6 nights), and they didn’t even make the bed? I feel like daily housekeeping is pretty standard when staying at a hotel longer than a week, so this was disappointing. Furthermore, the staff seemed reluctant to provide us with extra towels, even when we went to the front desk to pick them up ourselves. Very odd. On the bright side, the property is located on a beautiful beach and it’s possible to rent chairs/umbrellas/etc for a reasonable price. We didn’t spend too much time at the resort, but the time we spent on that beach was great! Good location if you want to visit different parts of the island during your stay. Also lots of stores nearby if you find yourself needing something during your time on Maui! Had breakfast at “Castaway”… pancakes were slightly undercooked and we had slow service. Not sure what to think considering the cost.

Our stay at Aston Maui Ka’anapali Villas was less than satisfactory. While the property operates on villa availability through owners, we faced several challenges. After a long 6-hour flight, our check-in experience was quite unpleasant, with a 3-hour wait for our room. I would recommend considering larger hotel groups like Marriott for more attentive customer service. Initially, our room had no hot water, and the front desk attendant was rude, offering no assistance when we had to move to another room. The new room did have hot water, but it was discolored and seemed unused for a long time. Additionally, the bedsheets had an odd smell. Be aware that there’s no restaurant on the premises, so you'll need to bring essentials if your room has a kitchen. On a positive note, there is plenty of parking available at no extra cost. It's also advisable to book a car in advance as relying on Uber could be expensive."

We absolutely loved this place. It's a little outdated but what you get in exchange is pricesless. Amazing location, very private. There were days we had the pool to ourselves and the beach was necer crowded. The staff was so friendly. This place is heaven on earth and we will be back!

Property is in a prime area but its rooms are very old and doesn’t feel like a resort. I booked garden premium room but it was still very old fashioned. The balcony was very dirty and seems never cleaned. I had toilet flush leaking and I had to call maintenance but there was no one available. I had to raise complaint around 4 times before someone showed up after 2 days! On another instance, we were sitting in lobby area and playing table tennis with the kids. 10 pm is a quite time and it was 9:35 pm. Security guy came and switched off the lights before informing and went away. He was so rude and not a good treatment to customers. There are so many good properties around.
