Bay Mountain Inn

This hotel is off the main street and a little old and starting to show its age. Front desk service was underwhelming. They are closed from 2200 until 0800. Hopefully you don't need any help. We hsve been coming here for quite sometime but will probably stay somewhere else. No breakfast either.

My stay here was ok. Breakfast was a joke. And i went out at 750 and again at 810. Nothing. Finally about 920 i went out to coffee,wheat toast, yogurt, juice and waffle. So i was disappointed.

Check in was easy, room was immaculate, clean and comfortable. Everything in place that was needed.thry said Breakfast was available and the gentleman in the morning went out of his way to make sure breakfast was there. Actually saw elk on the property in the morning. Will definitely reserve rooms here again.

If you looking for an inexpensive place to stay while visiting Cherokee, NC, this is not a bad option. The hotel and rooms are dated, but so are most hotels in this area. But it was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the shower worked nice. No cooked food for breakfast, but there’s coffee, cereal, a waffle maker, yogurt and fruit. And it’s only a 5 minute drive to Harrah’s casino and 3 minutes drive to shopping and tourist attractions.

Room was clean and served its intended purpose without issue. Will stay again. Not much for amenities but not missed on this trip. If you need simple, this place gets the job done.

Stayed here for 1 night while on a fly fishing trip. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

The outside (sign on bldg) was missing letters and it seemed dated.

No point in giving a review. I have posted before on horrible conditions of a hotel in hopes of saving someone for a terrible situation and nothin was done and hotels.com still has them in the system

Great customer service, but water pressure was very low.

The property is quiet and well maintained and is smoke-free! I will be staying here again.

It was clean and comfortable and easily accessible.

Bed Bugs!! I am completely dumbfounded as to how this property got such a high rating. The hotel exterior was concerning when we arrived. The check-in clerk looked bored and could not sufficiently answer my questions. Then we went to inspect the room and found an adult bed bug crawling under the pillow of one bed, and another adult bed bug on the top corner mattress. We left immediately. The hotel refuses to refund my money. Expedia could not help. We were left stranded, no hotel, hours from home, and no one offering to help. Awful treatment. Never again!

Bathroom had issues

Every thing was good except for the water pressure on shower

A/C did not work properly...appeared to have been preset and we weren't able to keep the room cool. Nasty conditions around the hotel. ..very poorly maintained. Room was standard....nothing fabulous. Breakfast was cheap bagels muffins yogurt or instant oatmeal. Don't stay here. There are much better options in town.

Such a nice smaller hotel and not in a busy area. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and quiet. We will stay again!
