Baymont by Wyndham Downtown Detroit

It truly was just a room. The showers did not have any hot water. When I ask what the problem was, the only response was there’s nothing they could do.

This is my favorite place to stay away from home

It served it's purpose. It is an older hotel in downtown Detroit. It's not perfect and shows it's age in many areas, but was adequate. The shuttle service is a huge plus associated with this hotel.

Condom was on the floor underneath a bed upon arrival. The water in the bathroom kept running all night . Says they offer free parking but that’s only until their lot is full and you have to park wherever you can.The faucet for the tub wasn’t even connected to the wall and was so filthy. The roof was almost caving in. Stuff in drawer from previous Tenant. Won’t be returning.

Always happy when I stay here. Rooms are very clean. Staff always happy to assist with any last minutes modifications.

Canceled room when we arrived. The carpet was wet there was a smell and it just didnt seem clean. And we are still yet to receive a refund.

Definitely exceeded my "expectations"! As many other reviews already stated, some items in rooms and overall needed improvement but you can see renovations are currently underway. The staff was, in fact, very friendly and accommodating (as stated in other reviews). Price vs Quality was excellent in my opinion!

For the most part it was a good stay staff was helpful and friendly

The carpet was worn and dirty. staff were very friendly and courteous. I do want to say that my purse was kicked out of the vehicle, left in the parking lot and the staff kept it in a safe place and bagged up, My daughter retrieved it almost a week later with nothing missing. Kudos to the person who found it in the lot and turned it in to the front desk. And much appreciation to the front desk staff for keeping it safe until it was picked up.

No fridge in room. King size mattress was broke down terribly and sank in the middle. Showere head and shower faucet was not secure and flopped around.

I just expected more from the Wyndham brand

So the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything! No windows which means the air in the room is stagnant. Love the continental breakfast. Wi-Fi sucks.

No windows to the outside. Definitely an old motel converted.

This room/ hotel needs to be shut down by the government/ hotels.com need to step in this is a biohazard. Mold, rat droppings were enough for me and my partner to run. This room was said to be cleaned by the staff which obviously didn’t happen. I asked for my money back and the staff was argumentive.

Staff was friendly. Only concern was towels were dirty gray. We requested new ones and those were worse. We went out and bought towels to use.

The property looked a little run down on the inside. You can tell it hasnt had any renovations in years. The room was comfortable and it was quiet until night time where everyone decides they want to be loud in the halls. And it smelled like weed really strong in the halls. It was okay for my trio out there but ill pay more for better next time
