Baymont by Wyndham Helena

Stayed at this property many times. Usually they go down over time. This seems to be the same every visit. I will say that we stayed in #117 (Two Queens). The bed we chose to sleep in was closest to the bathroom. The other was so sagged it looked as if there was two invisible people laying in the bed! To bad I couldn't include a picture. BUT, saying that I still think it is good value and would stay here again.

This place is a little gem. I came upon it 3 years ago when traveling for my daughter's gymnastics meets. It's not far from downtown and gymnastics venues. It's away from noise and rooms are very clean with comfy beds. The pool and jacuzzi are clean and usually not crowded. The staff is friendly, very polite and accommodating. The rooms have a microwave and refrigerator. I would recommend this place for a great weekend getaway to Helena.

I give this hotel 2 stars… the only great thing about this place was the front desk gentlemen who checked me in and out, they were both great! The rest of the hotel is pretty filthy and gross. I always bring my own Lysol wipes and used half my container, nasty. They really need to thoroughly clean! I wore my shoes the whole time, that’s how unclean the room was.

This hotel is dated but the room was pretty clean and beds were comfortable. There were a couple of complaints. First, there was a note in the bathroom that the maids do not do daily service if you are staying more than one night. It was requested that the guest put the garbage and dirty towels outside the door and they would leave clean towels. This didn’t apply to us as we stayed one night. However, this seemed ridiculous since Covid restrictions are no longer in place. I would rather see an honest explanation such as in order to keep cost down or due to being short staffed. I am sure the morning the infected guest leaves, if they have Covid, it would put the maids at risk to come in and clean. The note also said the guest could still go to the front desk and request full service. The other complaint is the breakfast area was a mess at 9 am. Food spilled all over, no gravy, no forks. There were three staff members behind the counter and only one looked like she was completing a task. I know the cost of the room was reasonable however if the staff is available they should be looking for any way to offer good service.

The front desk person was very helpful and had good customer service. I really appreciate his customer service and he also brought the roll out bed to the room as Soon as he could.

We love syaying at this Baymont. Centrally located across the street from groceries, she may be an older hotel with some wear but beds are new and comfortable, water is hot and her employees are happy to work there and it shows! Also, love the entire idea of "The Rag" . This simple perk has come in super handy more than once!

The people above us were so loud we did get to sleep until almost midnight. The pool got closed at like 8. The food in the morning was cold.

Nice, basic, clean hotel. Good breakfast. Allows pets.

Lots of cigarette butts at back entrance and strong scent of cannabis regularly throughout our stay. Staff were very friendly though. Sidewalks were ice covered and pretty treacherous for a hotel. Beds were good quality and the price was a good value.

Wonderful front desk staff. Friendly and welcoming. Property is dated but our room was comfortable and the price was great.

Front desk was great at assisting us with booking a last minute room. Very grateful as I was trying to reserve an “emergency stay”from out of state, for my son, traveling to school.
