Nice place for the price

All good.

Room was clean. TV is NOT High Definition (disappointing). Ironing board is very wobbly and unsteady. The smell of marijuana and cigarette smoke is prevalent throughout the hotel's interior. Lobby is very clean and staff is friendly.

The neighboring room had 4 college age young men having a great time but WAY too loud .. they ignored the front desk warning BUT respected my intervention (a bit dramatic to say the least) .. not bad kids just clueless! The age and wear + tear show but the bed was clean ... did not shower - truly just sleeping to break up long travel.

Quality is a little better than what you would expect for the price

I booked this hotel because I have stayed at best western in other areas before and always had a great stay. This one is not quite on the standards I was use to. My family had to switch rooms after getting there. Definitely wasn’t as clean as I would like. It looked like someone wiped boogers on the lampshade. There was no way we could use the tv in that room because they give you cheap universal remotes . So no Netflix or anything even if you bring your own device. The bathroom’s definitely needed an up grade the mats looked dirty the desk chair had pealing arms . When we switched rooms I thought originally it’s kind of a upgrade. Then I realized I found someone’s facial oil bead on the counter and a few what look like dirty marks on the counter in the bathroom. We made it work. Definitely not the best or worst experience.

Dirty room & old style hotel needs remodeled

The room was clean. Breakfast was hot and tasty. No problems with check in. I like that they send text messages during stay to see how things are going. They had restaurants within walking distance across the parking lot. Would stay there again.

Nice and friendly staff, no complaints..

There were numerous rooms filled with employees staying at the hotel like it was their home. One had a dog that barked for over 5 hours straight with the front desk clerk stating there was absolutely nothing she could do about it. She did offer to trade me rooms..on the first floor, but no guarantee that it would not be next to another dog room. So we listened to the employee’s dog bark non stop ( I have a recording) till after 11 pm). We were told at booking, the pets were reserved on the first floor. To our surprise, there were several rooms with multiple dogs on the second floor (apparently if you have a pet allergy and reserve a 2nd floor room due to the no pet rule, your just out of luck. I was told by the front desk that they do not follow that rule. Also, it is hard to get into the small breakfast area due to the multiple employees eating in there with the guest. The food seems to be consumed by employees leaving little for the guests it was intended for. They also had rooms of workers who partied at night, drinking, shouting, running the halls, leaving a mess of beer bottles and trash everywhere. They do not seem to have a very effect management running this hotel. Overall, not a good stay. Avoid if you can. Pay a little extra and go to a different hotel.

THIS TRIP REDEEMED BEST WESTERN IN MY EYES! I hesitated to stay at a Best Western because of a bad experience in Morgantown, WV.

It was very nice.

The hallway smelled very strongly of smoke, however the room did not at all

Air conditioning didn’t work, no courtesy fan, flashing white lights outside the room on the exterior of the building, a number of items in the room in poor condition or in need of repair. No one at the desk at 0130am. Generally overall a less than desirable stay.

The hotel is an older style building. It could use a facelift (TLC) throughout. It was only two stories with long hallways. A stairwell to the second floor, no elevator available. Place is near highway so could be noisy at times. I was told the waffles at breakfast were “jamming” and can confirm they were indeed.

We slept well, the staff was friendly and attentive. It’s an older building and could be cleaner.
