Best Western Plus Yosemite Gateway Inn

The room didn’t feel sanitary or clean and a pile of doggie poop was on the floor under a chair. Upon discovering it a maintenance man came to pick it up. He indicated that the maid was his daughter and that he would have her make sure the room was presentable sanitary and clean in the morning. -That was never done.

the staff was wonderful....The breakfast offered a nice variety but was inconvenient, as it was located in a different building where we had to drive. Our room didn't have any heat in the bathroom and no hot water for showers.

Loved the place and the breakfast

We stayed in a family suite for two nights. The bed for the “parents” section was like sleeping on a slab of granite. It was an old spring mattress with no cushion and the movement from the other person could be felt all night. The bathroom and sink/microwave area are located in the section of the room with the single bed and there is no way to lock the door between the rooms for any privacy. The TV’s have premium cable but only the TV in the double section was a smart TV. The breakfast at the restaurant was probably the best part of the stay and definitely adds value to the room. The front desk staff stated that they were in the process of changing out the mattresses. We didn’t use the pool because another large family took over the entire facility. This same family had several rooms near ours and were loud at night (this is beyond BW control but something to consider when booking) I have been to this property several times before and this was the first negative experience I had. I had never before gotten the family suite and will probably not stay again. There are newer hotels in the area and places closer to Yosemite that I will try in the future.

Very nice value for money hotel for visiting Yosemite National Park, if you don’t mind the winding drive to and from the park entrances. Old hotel, but very well kept. The hot complimentary breakfast is very good. Original owner’s paintings are all over the property.

Great job and location

We came to this hotel for a couple getaway! We were very pleased with our stay!!

We stayed one night on our way out of Yosemite, which is approx an hour away. We loved our stay here, rooms were clean, staff was very friendly, the breakfast was good, and my small children loved the indoor pool! I will be staying here again next time we visit Yosemite.

A beautiful resort. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was good! Truly enjoyed the warm breakfast served at Oakhurst Grill. This is our favourite hotel during our recent 40 days vacation. Highly recommended!

Very close to the Yosemite South Entrance. Quiet and very conveniently close to shops. Polite staff and great breakfast options.

Place was clean, the foresty view from the balcony was nice, the food at the restaurant was great, the staff was very nice and helpful. I didn't feel like we were placed too close to a lot of people so it felt quiet and secluded. I would come back next time I'm here.
