Comfort Inn Bay City - Riverfront

We were only there a day. Comfortable stay

Other than our room not being ready at check in time, hotel was great.

Everyone here has been friendly and welcoming. The room is clean and bed comfortable. We have stayed here before and will again!

Pool looked inviting, several were using it. I was there for place to stay while attending funeral, so other priorities for me. King suite. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom tight but functional for my needs. Breakfast every morning except my early day with my check out at 4am. They gave me a to go bag that morning. Breakfast area very clean and plenty to choose from. Parking well lit and free. Whenever I would come in the main doors, I was always asked if there was anything I needed.

Nice and close to riverfront. Walked to bars are restaurants. Clean and quiet.

Clean comfortable room, but 10pm-5am dogs barking, kids running in hall, a lot of pot smoking stink.

Very friendly staff coupled with clean and quiet rooms.

The pool was out of service and the room wasn't nothing it was ordinary but it was cheap

We got a phone call after check in time (we happened to be driving to the hotel) that the pool was not going to be useable. No discount offered. We booked a River view room as well as some friends who were also staying there. Both of our rooms not only didn't face the River, but the view of the city was mostly blocked by the roof of the building adjacent. We returned to the hotel after the venue we were at closed only to find the front entry locked and our keys didn't work. We had to walk around to a side entrance to get back in because no one was at the front desk. Breakfast ended before checkout time so we missed that. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean.

Nice place to stay. Rooms are very comfortable

Cons: traffic noise is horrible, room needs a overhaul stains and rips on curtains, hallway carpet has horrible sour smell, tv is old doesnt have app options to watch any of your apps. Lack of plugs and no usb ports. Curtains wont shut so light comes in all night. Pros: firm bed, heat worked great, hot shower, extra bright parking lot, super nice staff

Breakfast staff were great and friendly. Hotel was good and quiet. Only concern is that I was significantly overcharged. Expedia is dealing with that charge for me.

The room was freezing. There was cold air coming out of the vent at the ceiling in the bathroom, we had to put a towel over it. We had the heat set to 85 the entire stay and never got warm. However, the lady that works the breakfast in the morning is an amazing human being. Please reward her well.

Actually an excellent price for the stay. Very clean overall. Extremely friendly staff. Parking is tight but doable. A breakfast worth indulging in. Would we stay here again ? Absolutely !!!

Staff was excellent. We had a travel issue and the guy at the front desk was able to help us out without any problems. We very very great full. Definitely would stay there again.

Dislike was that i couldnt cancel 48hrs before even though roads were closed due to the snow storm. Poor business ethics.

Perfect hotel for a business trip. Great location, easy to drive to but also easy to walk to everything downtown. Great breakfast and friendly staff

The staff was fantastic. The women that does the breakfast was the best!
