Comfort Inn Pinehurst - Southern Pines

First I'll start with the staff absolutely phenomenal all the way around. When I opened the door to the room very welcoming very comforting love the TV channels loved all the accommodations in the room. Lobby very clean very welcoming. Staff was absolutely first class. It is a very small hotel so as far as the complimentary breakfast I feel was sufficient didn't necessarily have to overdo it I was content with it. Definitely on my list next time I'm in Pinehurst that's where I'm staying. Century Located to restaurants and stores and the golf courses. Highly recommended

Had recent surgery and tried to get a voucher for future use but hotel refused. Only could stay one night. Also heater in room didn't work on a chilly night.

The shower water is lukewarm. It is almost cold. It has been that way the last two times I have stayed there.

Hotel was just average. Is dated and in need of renovation. Breakfast was less than average. Staff was friendly and helpful.

It was a great stay.

We stayed here several times and although the location is convenient for our purpose, we will staying elsewhere the next time. The last visit the sheets appeared to be unchanged, this visit I had to ask for a clean shower curtain and disinfectant to clean the bathroom because of what looked like blood stains on the shower curtain. The front desk person was very accommodating and nice in my requests for cleaning supplies.

Goof value

Was disappointed that I was unable to draw the drapes enable to block out the outdoor lights around the property. Caused restless and inconvenient sleep. Had to cover my head and use hot headband to cover eyes. Otherwise bed was vey comfy.

In early morning (4:00 am) shower water is barely lukewarm.

Comfort Inn used to be one of the better two- or three-star properties to stay at. This hotel is dated and in need of renovations. Amenities are fine and what you would expect. Rooms need to be updated, and hotel needs a good cleaning. Lots of debris in the hallways. Staff was excellent, helpful, and very courteous and the one really good thing about this location. It's also kind of tough to get into and out of this location. Right off a main roadway that's 55-mph speed limit. It's hidden in the trees, and if you aren't paying attention you'll drive right by this place. It was adequate for the price. Free breakfast is the usual stuff. Kind of boring when it's the exact same every day when you are staying multiple days. Overall, maybe a 7 out 10 our stay.

It is clean and comfortable. Very basic breakfast. The waffles are the best choice. The decor is a bit dated but ok The best part was walking across the street to hickory tavern ate there both nights and a caribou coffee too. When you cross the bridge there is a board missing so you have to be careful. Staff was very nice and friendly. Rooms clean. Had no problems. I would book again.
