Check in took over a half hour.

Mona at the front desk was extremely helpful in finding us a room for early check in so we could get to our room and get "geared up" for an Eagles game. Plus, the hotel is literally atop the subway station and in an area with many great restaurants. Convenient on site parking garage too.

Right across from the theater district and close to fun neighborhoods.

The building seemed a little dated and tired. The towel rack in my bathroom fell off because the hardware wasn’t secured correctly. The pool room was very cold, and had a loud blower making for an unpleasant swim.!

The assistant nurse manager allowed for a later check out to accommodate my late flight. They were so kind.

Hotel room and location perfect for our short stay in Philadelphia. Hotel is obviously older but well maintained. Bathrooms really need to be upgraded. Couldn't even use the bathtub

This was a nice property, but the cleanliness could improve...

The manager and staff were not very friendly. They seemed like every question irritated them. Megan and the manager were the main staff I interacted with. Just did not make me feel welcomed. Surprising for a Double Tree…makes me think twice about staying at one again.

My favorite place to stay in Philadelphia. But still need some work in a pool area. Water is not warm enough to have fun with the kids and looks not so cute as can be with more greens.

As a person who travels to Philly for work multiple times a year, I will not recommend this hotel! The location is great, the complimentary cookie was fantastic and the room was clean; I wish the negatives didn’t ruin my whole experience. Every moment you walk into the lobby, you get harassed by employees who are selling packages and a no isn’t good enough! They literally followed me down to the elevator! After a long day of work or moments before I start my long day, I don’t want to be bombarded which such harassment! Now another reason why I booked this hotel was because of the indoor pool and I was super disappointed! It was unbearably cold in the pool room and the lobby leading up to the room! The water was very much lukewarm if that, and if you did choose to take a dip, you’re risking catching a cold while getting out! Parking I can say was convenient as it was right across the walk way of the hotel. The downside is it is pricey & felt pretty unsafe as there isn’t a direct entrance from the lot to the hotel. Very sketchy lot! Wouldn’t recommend, and it’s sad because I normally love DoubleTree!

They gave me a hard time for an armband just ridiculous . . .i wont be back again
