Embassy Suites by Hilton Baton Rouge

There were bedbugs present but the staff accommodated me with another room and also offered Hinton award points since I was a member. Could not refund due to me booking through a 3rd party.

Comfortable, convenient, nice staff. Bathroom maintenance can improve.

The hotel was rated as a 4 star. however the amenities were somewhat dated , slightly worn , and not any better than 3 star hotels. the rating should be 3 star . the breakfast was better than most however.

Old place door broken any bad service

We checked out almost immediately. This place was smelly, dirty, stained, rusted, and not in working order. I’ve tried repeatedly to get my money back and yet no one will help. Hates everything about it except the gal who checked us in, and even after she said she was willing to refund our money, she couldn’t confirm that to Expedia. Will not use Expedia again and will not stay in a Hilton anything if I can help it.

Enjoyed staying here. Plenty of parking and a good breakfast.

When I got there to check-in and I was going back back to the car, I fell on a mat the virus did as if I was okay and I said, yes. And there we were and got her stuff and went upstairs. When we got to the room, the a c wasn't working very good and then in the bedroom, the control to the TV did not work. The batteries were crowded inside the control. Then I needed sheets for these couch bed, and they told me I would have to come downstairs to get them because they were shorthanded.

The Embassy is clean and quiet. The breakfast is wonderful. The bathroom is very small, the tub fills rapidly & drains slowly. The toilet is so low that I have to pull myself up by grabbing the face bowl. And the trash cans are very tiny.

Pet fee is $75 non-refundable, other hotels in the area charge around $25. Lesson learned. Hotel is in need of some TLC, containers put out to catch water in some areas due to water leakage, and evidence of ceiling tiles that have given way due to age/water exposure. Hot tub didn't work and although there was a sign it appears it was there for a while. On check-in, only one towel in the room and no shower curtain. No sheets, blankets, or pillow for the pull out sofa. Had to request all, but after we installed the shower curtain, we noticed it didn't have a liner. Tub was stained yellow and there was hair in the shower. Drains are kind of slow, standing in water while showering. Room smelled musty, AC was on 75 when we walked in and AC took a while to cool down the room. Food at thr bar could use improvement, for three of us was $68 with tip. Our appetizer came with stale chips, our pizza seemed like it was frozen prior to being put in the oven. It was limp and didn't have many toppings. Our club sandwich was missing bacon and swiss, so we sent it back. Bacon added, but we were told they were out of swiss. The club was toasted bread with cold cuts, a tomato that looked soggy, and almost no mayo. The meal wasnt worth what we paid. We were told drinks were free during happy hour but the two beers we had were almost room temperature. Sort of reminded me of my time in Germany. Hotel has potential but needs some help in my view.

Guess we're very noisy a lot of jumping and bumping and slamming of doors

This location is in dire need of a massive overhaul. It might be best to completely guy it and start over. The carpets are filthy. The elevators are exceptionally slow. Most of the interior looks like it hasn't been well cleaned in years. The staff seemed bother that I weas there taking them away from something they would rather be doing. I won't be going back.

I was given a handicap room without reserving one. There was only hand towel, NO OTHER TOWELS! NO SOAP! NO HOT WATER! I have stayed at your hotel several times and this was the worst.

The daily occupancy rate per room was excessive for this type of hotel. Will consider other options in the future.
