This was an excellent room for a very reasonable price, until you add the mandatory "resort fee'. I did not use any of their "resort' facilities and did not appreciate having to pay $20 for not using them.

We had an overall good stay. The hotel is older and certain areas are dated. The pool area is run down and needs a good cleaning. Staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was clean but did have hair on the floor which is minor but grossed me out!

Overall was a great stay. We ran into some issues with not having a microwave in our room and not having the easy access to feed our kids. The prices of the restaurants in the hotel were expensive but we expected that already.

Even though it is the areas off season so the resort was at a very low capacity- a majority of the staff we were on contact with seemed like we were bothering them. For anything. Walk into a shop- just not friendly. Call the front desk- one word responses or they don’t know and will send someone up. Very cold. One word answers, dismissive, it literally felt like we were bothering them. Also microwave is $15 a day.

The air was extremely dry. I woke up with a bloody nose and the heater blows directly on your face when sleeping. The beds are extremely hard and the pillows are flat. The bed frame sticks out and is a hazard for people when walking by bed frame. The shower fills up with water and does not have the proper draining. There were small spiders in corners of shower floor and bathroom. The extremely large tv stand could have held a microwave and drawers but it could not. There was a fridge and not a microwave. To get to the outdoor hot tub you have to walk through the pool area which is extremely slick, def not accommodating for those with limited mobility. The kids in the pool were screaming incessantly and was not told to stop. The sign says no kids in the hot tub and there were kids in the hot tub. This experience was suppose to be a nice getaway as a work bonus and it was definitely not delightful.
