Hampton Inn Freeport/Brunswick

The staff was friendly and the room was very clean. This is a nice hotel.

Very impressed. Was helped over phone to cancel a prior reservation wonderful desk person. My stay was great great breakfast clean nice pool big rooms and clean.

I was very pleased with the accommodations. We were greeted promptly and pleasantly upon check in. The room was clean had plenty of towels and the bed was comfortable. The TV offered plenty of channels to watch. The continental breakfast gave you both hot and cold selections and was very good. I did not use the gym however, it was equipped with up to date machines. Pool appeared nice as well. Close proximity to I-295, Downtown Freeport and a some very nice restaurants. I would recommend the Hampton Inn if you are looking for a nice, reasonably priced place to stay.

Overall a nice experience. There were some things outside of the control of the hotel that were troublesome, but our only true complaint is that we were locked out of our room for reasons no one could explain. We had to go the desk four times and ultimately had to be let in with a master key fob.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The hotel was well maintained and pleasant. The restaurant food was mediocre at best and the service staff was lousy.

Great location and pet friendly

My family and I always try to stay at the Hampton Inn whenever we travel. We have taken mutiple trips this year andnthis Hampton while still good was disappointing. The hotel is showing its age. From the dated and dark breakfast area to the basically "empty" and equally dark "market" area. My son is 6 and just recently learned to swim over the summer and his usual favorite part of the stay is the warm Hampton Inn pool was almost too old and grimy to swim in. I didn't want to disappoint him so we went swimming but it was not a pleasant experience. Last but not least having a 6 year old who remembers everything, he was incredibly disappointed to learn the hotel didn't offer the 6 o'clock cookie. We were told that the practice was stopped when covid hit but we have stayed at plenty of other Hamptons which still continue the service.

Room was really nice.

This property was outdated and dirty. We had room 128 and it smelled of poop. Come to find out the sliding door had poop fingers printed we had to clean as there was no staff on Thanksgiving to clean. Very outdated for sure! Breakfast was great. No complaints for breakfast. Fitness room was nice and pool was nice. Room was juat not cleaned properly. We stayed 1 night this time have atayed a few other times and seems it has gine downhill and not same as other hamptons, will not stay here again.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean but needs updating. It was convenient to downtown Freeport for the tree lighting and shopping and restaurants. Some hotels provide ice water in the lobby which is nice when you come back for the day, so we suggested it for the future… We would stay there again.

Breakfast is poor quality. Eggs are prefab and not healthy. Fairfield inn serves real scrambled eggs. Coffee was terrible and they do not offer dark roast. Staff was nice but told me they couldn’t print my bill because I went through Travelocity. Yet I opted to pay at the hotel so they should have printed me a bill. I have never had a Hampton Inn tell me that. Room was very clean. Roll down black out shade does not black out the morning light.

The breakfast staff did an excellent job of keeping the food stocked on a busy weekend. I also loved how close it was to the shopping district.

Great service.

Firstly I am a Hilton rewards member. This was by far the most disappointing experience I have had with the chain hotels. Staff were extremely friendly but then we arrive to our room to find it extremely dirty. The bathroom had long black hair throughout, on mirror, floors and tub. I cleaned most of it due to arriving late and needing rest. Cob webs in bathroom with spiders, etc.. needless to say we will never return to this hotel.
