Fantastic Stay – Highly Recommend!
I recently stayed for two nights in a deluxe room at Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham in Ellsworth, and I was incredibly impressed. The room was spotless and super comfortable, making me feel right at home. The kitchenette was a wonderful bonus, stocked with all the utensils I needed, which made preparing meals for baby so easy.
I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and everything was well-maintained. I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm in the area. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay near Bar Harbor!

The room was fantastic, very friendly service at check-in, great breakfast. We love the location, and that we can walk to Hannaford's to pick up snacks and drinks after a long day in Acadia and Bar Harbor. This is our go-to hotel when visiting Acadia! It was our second stay here and won't be our last.

Great place to rest and recover from a day of hiking
Free breakfast and a small kitchen in the room which was wicked helpful
The A/C system in the room was wicked loud and we had to turn it off

They are under construction- pool unavailable. Breakfast and cookies great. Hard to regulate heat. Room was modernized and comfortable. Bed a bit hard to get in as I am short.

I was unhappy to learn that they have no elevators to get your luggage and yourself to the second floor. Our room ceiling has a huge crack that looked like pieces could fall down on us.

Property did not have my reservation saved. Stated Expedia canceled it. (Even though I was charged for it). They tried to say they had no more rooms available. Then room we got had a bad ceiling nothing currently leaking but can tell something had leaked and was gross looking. Can hear every footstep in hallway. Non stop barking dogs at 7am. Restaurants around the area are very limited and close around 7-8pm.

The Public areas were dirty, the area questionable. The room itself was great, but the other amenities were generally broken or dirty. Not worth $274 per night
