Front desk associate had been napping in the back, didn’t speak to me once during check in, room had bugs in the restroom and towels were dirty. Morning crew literally gave us no privacy while gathering our things for checkout.

Hotel is run down, very sketchy feel to it.
Certainly doesn't look like the pictures
The staff are rude. The breakfast was next to nothing with no juice or anything available.
Heater in the room took approximately 4 hours to get to full potential.

Rooms were ok. Noisy area close to I-35 and major road with a lot of truck noise. Breakfast was all carbs, so we couldnt eat anything. Wouldnt stay here again.

I was disappointed with breakfast. Not enough options. There were only waffles, cereal, and yogurt. No other hot food.
There was a man looking inside my vehicle. Not sure if he was trying to steal something.

Rverything was just fine. Plenty of parking and place was quiet despite the heavy traffic in the area. The only issue i had was a slow drainage of the sink. It would accumulate water and stand before it drained.

It was a nice room for one night. I usually bring my own toiletries and soap but forgot my own soap this time and was sad to note there was no complimentary bathroom products. Had to go to Walmart to buy soap so I could shower. Other than that the room was clean, the wifi worked well and I felt safe being there alone.

A lot of souped-up, very loud cars drove by on the nearby street. Obviously, this issue is totally beyond the control of the hotel. Also, when you are looking for this hotel while driving, be aware that the signs say something like “Save-On”, not “Hill Country Inn”. I assume that this inconsistency will eventually be fixed. Overall, this hotel is a fair deal for its price.
