Holiday Inn DES MOINES-AIRPORT/CONF CENTER, an IHG Hotel

Great stay

Check in was an absolute nightmare. Family member had made and paid for reservation earlier in the day. However desk clerk had no knowledge of it and forced us to pay with money we did not have. Could not afford the extra for rollaway bed so one family member had to sleep on the floor. One child highly allergic to mold and bathroom ceiling had mold all over it. The pool and hot tub area were wonderful but the room was small and not worth the money. More like a $49 room at a Budget Inn. Will never return

Had cockroaches don't know how to clean and the courtyard looks nothing like it does in the pictures the rooms are outdated

The hotel was nice just didnt like the chlorine smell when u enter the main lobby area. The gym towels or overly worn out. The staff was real nice and helpful.

Left vehicle at extended stay while on a little trip. Someone tried to break into it. Evidently no security cameras there. Would not recommend doing that.

Management really should take lesson on how to resolve situation when it comes to what you were told in writing at booking and did not deliver. Very unfriendly and would not recommend at all . Booked through Hotels.com and was told breakfast was included and received confirmation in writing. Would not have stayed for five nights if this was not included. Had many other choices but expected Holiday Inn to be better choice, was very wrong. First room that was given to me was dirty and had to change rooms. No one apologized or even communicated to me. I know that I will never stay in a Holiday Inn again and I travel a lot.

Staff in the restaurant is AMAZING! The 24hr airport shuttle is incredible!

The staff member that checked us in was excellent. We really liked the shuttle driver. We would definitely stay again.

It was clean and quiet. Very nice
