Homewood Suites by Hilton New Orleans French Quarter

The hotel was convenient to everything - walking distance to local excitement and still far away enough to be quiet - so perfect to enjoy and still not be bothered by the nighttime indulgences. It was clean, smelled great and was secure with roomkey entry at the entrance, at all times.

Great location, walking distance to the French Quarter, easy parking (paid valet), very nice hot breakfast. The suites have a complete kitchen, a convenience store is located near Jackson Square to get everything needed.

This property is fantastic! The amenities are what you would expect for this chain. It is a very spacious suite, and extremely comfortable. But the thing that stands out about this property is the very kind and accommodating staff. My daughter and I and our dog were traveling across the country, and our New Orleans stop was the last night of our trip. Then - a freak snow storm rolled in and we were stuck and not able to leave. The hotel was so helpful and accommodating, putting us right back in our same room. The valet was awesome, as well as the front desk staff. I cannot say enough good things about this place! I would HIGHLY recommend it!

Fridge, dishwasher, electric range top, kitchen complete w/ cups, glasses, plates, bowls and silverware. Used home suites before, they don't disappoint. Great matress, large shower. Table and chair (could use another chair) and a couch.

It was ok

Very close to Louis Armstrong Park,neighborhood bars & a bakery. Not all trolleys were running, so a bit of a walk to lower French Quarter. Staff was helpful. Room key needed for entry to Hotel & elevators for safety. Free breakfast, pool & gym. Full kitchen was handy. Overall good value for $.

Do not use the concierge. He will tell you there are no other tours or trips available so you book with him and he gets a portion of the sale. He's the guy who works mornings. Otherwise we will always book this hotel. A

The location was further away from events I was attending but not a fault of the hotel. The room was clean enough but outdated. The common areas were fine. There was a strong smell in the lobby that was a type of fresher I had a hard time with. There was a large fingernail outside my room that was very gross. It remained the entire time I was there. My conditioner was empty and not replenished at room clean up. The breakfast was very sad and icky. I was happy coffee areas was clean and available early. Overall my check in and check out was great. The hotel was clean enough. There was not a feeling of hospitality I have experienced with other hotels in the area and the location was not ideal. The main lights were out crossing canal the entire time I was there and it made it very unsafe to cross. Not a reflection on the hotel, but contributed to my overall lacking experience.

Exactly what we were looking for for our first time in New Orleans. This is a great, short walk to Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, etc. Parking is expensive but easy. Not the best breakfast we’ve had included though.

Great all across the board

The property was below the standards for Hilton hotels and especially for homewood suites. The first room I was given smelt badly the curtains was falling down. They only have evening socials on Wednesday instead of from Monday to thursdays.( which was true of the one I and my family stayed in in Chicago.) I also think that they gave the really bad rooms to people who booked through a third party The only plus was that it was not far from Bourbon street and other activities including eating places but I won’t stay at this chain again. The breakfast was average as they only put out barely enough and were slow to refill

This is our second time staying here & we were really happy again! They provided featherless pillows on request at check in. Housekeeping was excellent - notification from hotel was to expect every second day but they cleaned our room every day over the week. Front desk staff & concierge were very pleasant & accommodating. Breakfast is great! We love the kitchenette for storing snacks & drinks. The bed is super comfy & room is very spacious. Location is great & we will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

They gave us a much bigger room than we expected. There was a section of carpet missing where it met the tile. Something sharp was sticking up and I stepped on it a few times. This was room 259. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay. The staff was really helpful in looking out for missing luggage that took a couple of days to arrive from the airport. Lucy at the front desk was very kind in making sure we got it when it showed up. I also like the money we saved with free breakfast. The concierges were helpful in saving us money too.

The pillows smelled so bad. Just dirty

Breakfast was good, could make more coffee for guests. The front desk had one employee who wouldn’t answer the phone which made me realize every time I called she let it ring too. She needs to be removed from customer service!

Amazing stay . It was quiet . Our Front desk staff was very helpful and I felt Very safe. You have to use your card to enter inside . . Also you have to use it for the elevator. No random person will just come on …breakfast buffet was good .. this is a place I’ll always keep in mind if I ever Come back
