La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bozeman

My wife and I were really impressed with the cleanliness and convenience of the La Quinta Inn in Bozeman. It was located close to Glacier High School where our grandson had a basketball tournament. The price was reasonable, the check-in was painless, and we had a quiet, enjoyable stay. The breakfast was the typical fare with eggs, sausage, bacon, and waffles, but the dining area was clean and well-stocked. Our stay was very pleasant.

My husband and I just needed a place to stay for 1 night in Bozeman, as we skied a full day in Big Sky and wanted to drive to our next stop in daylight. Upon check-in, the manager at the desk was very nice, and we had reserved a King room - I requested a quiet, warm room. The room was fine, updated nicely and very clean - BUT - this room had a door to connect to another room, and there was a VERY loud family screaming at each other in the room on the other side of the connecting doors. The only thing I did was put a towel along the bottom of the door - they were quiet by about 10:30pm, but it was really annoying. Also - the door to our room seems to been replaced, and it did not line up properly, It locked, but you could see the hallway light between the door and the frame. And like most of these places, the breakfast was meh - mostly carbs and sugars, they did have plain oatmeal packets and some sort of yogurt (with sugar) - There are so many other places to stay in this area - the price was very reasonable, but I would not stay here again.

Staff was friendly, accommodating, and responsive.

Room was clean, staff was great, the shower pressure was equivalent of a leaky pipe. Was told hot tub was at 103°, while it was very close to pool temperature. Water pressure was the biggest disappointment.

Very pleasant staff, offered pet treats which we’ve never have had before. Great pet area.

Staff were helpful, good size in-room refrigerator with clean coin op laundry and fitness center, in convenient location.

Not everyone drives a tiny car. Make room for pickups!

The hotel allows dogs, which is great. The only thing I would suggest is the hotel should consider allowing guests to leave their (well-behaved) dog alone in the hotel room (in a dog kennel, of course!) for short period of times - say maximum 2-3 hours stretches. Sometimes people come to Bozeman to attend a concert at Willson Auditorium or elsewhere, and would like to keep the pet alone in the room during the concert.

Dropped an item in the bathroom which rolled under the vanity. Was appalled at how much debris there was in the corners and against the baseboard. Laminate needs to be both vacuumed and mopped, and areas under fixtures and edge of bed/furniture need attention.

We enjoyed our stay. Customer service was excellent.
