Motel 6 Council Bluffs, IA - Omaha East

This is my first and probably last time staying at this place. It's has a cold institutional feel as though some silly eastern black country back in the '80s Cold war tried to create a college dormitory and they came up with some place that was mixed between mental institution and halfway house.. In any event it's depressing it's cold feeling it's not inviting You can hear couples arguing up and down the hall babies crying It was cheap I got all the discounts been done and I paid less than $30 and that's a good deal but I'm going forward I'm going to pay more than $30 and find someplace that feels a little bit more homey and warm.

Although the location could use some updates, it was much better than our stay years ago; kudos to the new management.

No smike detector un unit, just wires hanging out of wall. Occupants of 120 sounded like they were moving furniture most of night. Hard to sleep. No shampoo.

Amazing

Had to request a new room bc the first room was so filthy. Unwashed bedding full of old blood stains. Dried muddy bootprint on comforter. Trash under bed. Slop & stains on the walls. Smelled like old smoke. The lady at the front desk was very kind & helpful New room was in similar condition but clean bedding. Dried stains on floor/walls/ceiling. Broken light fixture with piece hsnging off. Not enough towels or pillows. Fecal residue in toilet. Cockroach in bathroom. Reeked like smoke.

The hotel seemed fine from the outside (as far as riff raff). The first night I awoke to a fight in the hallway, and a dog barking. The second night, which is right now, There are people talking and being loud in the hallway all night. I have been up all night and have to drive now tired. I just going to leave. This place is a total disaster. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

I'm disappointed with the free breakfast it's just stale coffee no sugar and cream that's all.

It was okay. It was relatively clean. It did the job.

Bed was clean. Floor somewhat clean. Air vent in bathroom was hanging down from ceiling and unplugged. Hotel has a working elevator….thank god!!! They decided it was a great idea to put everyone with dogs on the top floor. Parking lot was not very full so they could have easily put us on a lower floor. Guess you get what you pay for!!

Alloying me to bring pets when no other motel would

The room was clean. When I was there I saw 5 roaches. No cleaning of the room. The man at the front desk was nice though.

This property has bed bugs and is dirty and the staff is very rude and not nice at all and disrespectful
