Not great but not terrible either. We expected a budget motel and that's exactly what we got.

In the area for two nights for a family event. Convenient access to I-81. Clean room, good breakfast, friendly staff. My wife also enjoyed shopping at the large Antique/consignment store next door. Would stay again if in the area.

The hotel was affordable and that is why we stayed. The location is amazing for doing things across the area. We took day trips to Natural Bridge, Charlottesville, Shenandoah National Park, and an apple farm, which are all less than an hour drive. There is also a HUGE antique mall right beside the hotel. I will say that the hotel itself was mediocre at best. It has clearly been renovated, but still feels old. The room was clean, but it did have a damp smell to it. We literally bought a candle to help. The bed needed to be replaced. because it had areas that it was caving in and was no longer flat. Overall if you are on a budget and you are okay with a place to just rest your head, then this is a fine hotel.

Love that there is a kitchen that we can cook our food. It’s clean and breakfast is the best. Thanks to the employee that let us eat 30 min before breakfast time at 6:30am

Room was spacious and had fridge, freezer, small cooktop, prep sink and microwave. Staff were very nice. Bed was comfortable; breakfast was fine. Would stay here again.

No coffee maker in room. Piles .trash at bottom of stairs all weekend long. Stairs rusty, need paint. Breakfast could use some scrambled eggs, hotter gravy, some pastries.

The room was clean-a bit small. Since it had a cooktop it would have been nice to have a small table with 2 chairs instead of the desk and 1 chair. The room was a bit small for multiple days stay. I also had my credit card information stolen from someone at the front desk. This was the ONLY time that I used the card, and I later had a fraudulent charge. Thankfully the bank notified me about the charge, but they had to close the account and issue a new card.

I liked the parking spot directly in front of my room, and the kitchen within the room. I thought the air conditioning was poor. I need a cool sleep, and 78 is the lowest I could go.

Renovated older property was in good shape and what I expected for the price.
