Nice place, beautiful building

Woke up by alarms and loud tenants while staying in an expensive suite. Would not recommended again.

Amazing view of the fireworks over the falls. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Secured free parking and a very good continental breakfast. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

The whole staff were super friendly and hard working from the front desk crew , the two gentlemen looking over the breakfast area who were constantly refilling items to the bartenders and the maintenance staff. Our room was very clean and spacious and the shower was very large with a built in bench. The bar and breakfast areas were very cosy as well as the room on the top floor where we were able to chill and have a few drinks with other people who came up to check out the view. Parking was across the street in a gated lot monitored by security cameras. All and all it was definitely our favourite hotel that we have stayed in the area.

It was our 10 year anniversary trip. When i booked the hotel i took a chance but by pictures it looked like something my wife would love. And that is what happened she loved it feom the architecture and the small things staff would do. The staff was exceptionally nice and good. Will book again if we were to return to the area.

Nice hotel. We had a room with jetted tub. Enjoyed the falls, casino, Anchor Bar, all within walking distance.

We have stayed at The Giacomo every year since 2010 when it opened. It pains me to say that the place is showing wear and tear and needs some TLC. The toilet seat was peeling & stained, the drapes & carpets need some help, the Bar needs some decent glassware and to be stocked better, the TV had one channel. It's still a beautiful hotel, but COME ON ASCEND - put some $ into this hotel like you do your others. Nothing has been updated or fixed since it opened. It makes me sad. New York has forgotten Niagara Falls and that is a shame!

Great parking

Inconvenient parking across the street; dark and old property,

The room was dirty, hair in the bath tub. There was hair, dirt and crumbs under couch cushions. There was a bug cocoon on the bathroom wall near toilet. Coffee pot in room was dirty with coffee residue on the outside of the machine. After walking around in white socks in the room, our socks were black and dirty. It said there were robes and slippers but they were not available. The elevator would not go pass floor 16 of 18. The rooms were not updated from the lights, carpet or wallpaper. Room that was rented was not the same room as shown at time of reservation. Was told by manager that he would contact me and never received a call back. This was supposed to be a romantic vacation trip for our anniversary and was a total disappointment. It’s supposed to be a hotel but yet it has people that live there. Parking was outside with assigned parking that someone had took my parking spot. Would like to have a full refund. I would never nor recommend that hotel to anyone. My recommendation would be to stay somewhere else.

I liked that the hotel was different in its decor, almost historic. I enjoyed the large jetted tub. It was kind of erie going to the 19th floor lounge. It was a back stairwell off the elevator and it was very dark when we got up there. They claimed you could see the illumination light show of the falls which wasn’t true because the falls face Canada so you couldn’t see the lights unless you were on the Canadian side.

Great location to US Falls and great location to cross into Canada. Room decor was Fabulous

Absolutely lovely rooms; however, the bathroom was exceedingly cold as there were no vents for heat in there.

Weekend getaway. Our room was really cold and we were quickly moved to a suite with a fire place. The heat didn’t work in this room either but the fire place kept us warm. Water pressure in the shower was dismal. Breakfast was just ok.
