Great stay

The property is nice but needs an update. Staff are friendly. Food is good

Location is perfect and comfortable

Everything was perfect. Bed was comfortable, accomodations nicelt modern. Breakfast was delicious. Pool and sauna were lovely as well. View was divine.

We had a good stay in the hotel. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not working.

Have stayed several times here. It is an older property than requires some upgrading but under the new management, this is underway in the high priority areas. The restaurant is hugely improved, both through service as well as food quality. Chef Gary is making a big difference! And an excellent breakfast prepared individually was both included in the room price and better than any other hotel I've stayed at recently. Rooms are on the small side but comfortable.

The Ramada Resort and Spa it's a beautiful place on Lake Simcoe. Our stay wasn't in the best season but even with rainy and overcast days the place is beautiful. Our room was clean, easy parking on the property and a very short drive into town where there's no shortage of lovely place to dine or shop.

Love being by the water. Such a peaceful and calming environment.

The office was closed at7 pm, had to wait outside to check in. This was nothing more than a cheap motel but with a view. No microwave. The bed only had a fitted sheet & comforter. No top sheet no blankets. Housekeeping only once every 3 days. Everything about the property was rundown. The hot tub (the sole reason i booked the stay) was closed by the health department. The rooms arent connected to the main building.

We loved being close to the lake but the room numbers were too small to read from the car. The furniture placement (the large chair) we thought should be across the room so you could watch tv in the chair instead of bed. Free breakfast was lousy except for the coffee.

Hot tub closed by the local Health Department, we chose that hotel because they offered one. Most uncomfortable beds and pillows we have ever experienced. The restaurant did not honour the advertised hours.

Clean, nice room. Did not like the pillows; they were too thick and too firm. I prefer to sleep with just a top sheet because duvet was too warm. However, there was no top sheet; just the duvet. There were no washcloths in the bathroom. One of the window blinds would not open.

The Motel room smelled like stale smoke, room needed painting. We asked to be moved, and had an excellent room in the main building. I would recommend the main building rooms. Women at checkin was not friendly. The young man who took over was EXCELLENT. He helped us move our room and was so gracious.

Overcharged for our stay. Overpriced for what it is. Pedal boats parked all over the place. Unfriendly staff. Random restaurant hours.

Overcharged for the room. The parking lot is stuffed with ugly pedal boats and watercraft. Restaurant was not open early enough for breakfast, then was not open for dinner because the chef wasn't there. Unfriendly staff.

Hotel staff were very attentive. It’s clear the facility is old and there is evidence of it being updated. The room was spacious but lacked power outlets and usb ports and the pillows were like bricks. Blinds were clunky and did not black out room. Fitness room is woefully lacking and the hot tub was not functioning nor was the pool very inviting. It’s ok but it needs more work.
