The property is old and needed a good renovation. No maud service. Bed was not remade. Parking awful. Overpriced for the accommodation provided.

Everything was great except they gave us the wrong breakfast which we did not order.

Golf tavern was friendly, clean and comfortable. Booked the breakfast for 9:15 but no chef = no breakfast even though paid for it.

Positives - staff were lovely breakfast was freshly made to order and really good Negative- rooms need refurbished and updated but you get what you pay for and it was very reasonable to stay. Would I stay again? Yes

The staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. Room was totally adequate for our needs, good value for money. Staff were highlight of the stay, so lovely! The woman offered us advice for our travels, helped us get sorted and sat and chatted with us in the bar. We didn’t catch her names but the two blonde lady was fab. Would definitely recommend this place.

Room was adequate with a great shower. However it had no windows. Breakfast was excellent. Friendly bar and met our needs.

What a great place to stay !!! Nice town (with good public transport to Edinburgh) The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the owner (John) cooked us some wonderful food. I would stay there again if I was ever in the area.
