I have stayed here about 30 days and eaten here more than 100 times. TAWANTAI Mansion is the closest hotel to Wat Tham Seua Buddhist temple. There is a lot to do at the temple, and staying here is within walking distance (about 100 meters). TAWANTAI was built by an older couple. The rooms are big enough, and have views around to the limestone mountains, and overlooking rubber tree and palm tree plantations. The rate is VERY affordable, and the staff are very nice. The restaurant in this hotel is open most times, and has the best Pad Ceeyu (thick noodles with chicken, shrimp, or pork) in Krabi Noi. So delicious, and very reasonably priced. Ideal place to stay if you're planning on staying near the Wat Tum Sua temple and meditate, or just enjoy the grounds for a few days.
