this was a cute little spot to stop and rest for 1-2days.I booked via Expedia and that staff was very communicative until the end. I recommend and will book with them again in the future

Great revamped motel close to the historic downtown shops, restaurants and breweries! The staff were friendly and the coffee was excellent.

Comfortable! Great for dogs. Love the fireplace in the lounge and outside hangout space

Everything was great!

Heliotrope hotel is a great find in the middle of a sweet mostly residential area of historic homes with a beautiful park. We were also able to get a bottle of wine at the little market across the street and some wonderful poke just a mile away. Love this unique classic hotel! Dog friendly, too, with a welcome dog package.

The Heliotrope is an updated vintage motel. It was super charming and very conveniently located close to downtown. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, and the area felt safe. Walls are a little thin. The morning we left we overheard the room next to us having a very animated conversation. We weren’t sure if it was happy and excited or a fight.

Great place for a crash pad. It’s very close to the street so it is noisy if your room is closer to the street side. Great dog relief area and thankful for a dog friendly property.

Cool, hip old style motel that was remodeled. Rooms were simple, but had cool decor and very clean. Not a lot right next to it, but very walkable to downtown. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again next time in Bellingham!

Great location minutes from Zuanich Point Park and close to the cat cafe too. Lovely Hotel we enjoyed our stay. Staff were very kind.

It was nice that they had coffee ready by 6:00am each morning with breakfast treats. We also enjoyed sitting in the HUB and playing cards with a deck they had available for guests.
