Stunning lobby and rooms. I stayed in the Atlantic building which was modern, funky with great views. I only have three stars overall because of hiccups during my stay as follows: Got a balcony room but the doors were not operating properly. Heating was not working had to call twice then finally asked for another room. Curtain sheers facing the riverfront were stuck, obstructing my view (had to call front desk again). Housekeeping service did not show up one day and when they did speedily cleaned the room without care for how their work appeared. Another time they sloppily made my bed. I finally pulled the sheets all the way off as a signal to properly make the beds. On the upside they made up glitches with bottle of champagne, chocolates, charcuterie board. Beware— there is a resort fee that they charge you and then they give you “vouchers” to use at their onsite restaurants. I also had a charge on my final bill for valet parking but I didn’t have a car while I was there. It’s attention to detail that matters… not just “the pretty”. They still have work to do but I would stay there again because the location is great. PS - Shout out to front desk staff. Alex and Mackenzie were empathetic and were good at problem solving. I appreciated them working to make things right. Also Concierge service was a nice treat- they give you one-way rides to your destination. Concierges Tanya, Tristen, and Eden are top notch.
