Izumo Taisha is an old shrine with a long history and enshrines the gods. It is an ancient Japanese shrine on a vast site of 27,000 square meters. At the time of its construction, the shrine was nationally famous with the largest torii in Japan. Izumo Taisha is designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan. The main hall boasts a height of 24 meters, and the kagura hall has a large shimenawa about 5 tons, giving it a quiet and solemn atmosphere. It is also famous nationwide as a shrine for marriage and love, and many people keep coming to worship every year. The grounds of Izumo Taisha are large. If you wear a traditional Japanese kimono and walk around Izumo Taisha, you can enjoy the scenery of each season.
