By Air

The most convenient way to travel to Trang from Malaysia is by flying. Trang Airport (TST) serves domestic flights within Thailand, including flights from Bangkok. However, there are no direct flights from Malaysia to Trang. You would need to fly from a major airport in Malaysia (such as Kuala Lumpur International Airport or Penang International Airport) to Bangkok, and then take a connecting flight to Trang. From Trang Airport, you can take a taxi or other forms of transportation to reach your final destination within Trang.

By Train and Bus

Alternatively, you can take a combination of train and bus to reach Trang from Malaysia. You would first need to take a train from Malaysia to the Thai border town of Padang Besar, where you would go through immigration and customs.

From there, you can take a bus or van to Hat Yai, which is a major transportation hub in southern Thailand. From Hat Yai, you can then take another bus or van to Trang. This option is more time-consuming and may require multiple transfers, but it can be more budget-friendly than flying.
