Nicely renovated rooms in a great area. Lovely staff. It was quite expensive. The toilet wasn’t properly secured to the floor. There was sand in the shower.

Barry beach hotel is conveniently located a short walk from Bondi Beach. However if you are looking for a restful stay I would recommend staying elsewhere, as the hotel and the rooms are located directly above the in house nightclub and bar. So unless you enjoy being lulled to sleep by pounding bass and screaming gap year youths, I'd stay elsewhere.

Friendly helpful staff. Great night life. Lots of food options in the area. Tidy, clean room. A little small, but good.

Room was really nice and clean and location is good. HOWEVER there is a club downstairs which was not mentioned. Music blasting and people screaming until 2am on a weekday… so if you want any sleep do not stay here!

Awesome location but BEWARE on Friday and Saturday nights you will be sleeping above a nightclub. We bought earplugs and slept well . Very obliging staff and awesome location

Great location, but unfortunately not the best choice for a quiet stay. There’s a club directly below, and the music is so loud you can literally hear it in the room as if you’re right there. With paper-thin walls, the noise goes on until 1 a.m., making it feel more like a party house than a restful getaway. If you’re here for the nightlife, it might suit you, but if you’re after peace and quiet, I’d look elsewhere.

Check-in process was smooth. And very technique for security measures and impressed. However, Air Condition is not working and can't fix it. This, we have to book another accommodation. One of the front desk staff told me, they will provide us with fan. But I declined due to hot weather. I asked for full refund and they agreed to do so.

Nighttime roadworks which weren’t mentioned upon booking or checking in. Parking was difficult. Pub patrons were very noisy. Didn’t get much sleep. Staff were lovely.

Enjoyed my stay, room and facilities were excellent. I loved that I could open the window.

It's excellent for exactly what niche it fills. Great pub on the bottom floor and a couple of good bars on the level below the rooms. Room's are exactly what you need for a stay in Bondi when you're out an about for the weekend. A great shower, comfy as bed, cold water in the bar fridge and TV if needed. Would definitely stay again. Cheers

Nice clean room good service was a little bit noisy tho plenty of pub noise and road noise
